That last turn you would have easily survived kicking Hatespawn for the other Kalecgos when you discovered it and ending on double General Drakkisath. It was a 15 second window, so making the optimal play probably wasn't optimal.

4:21 Just for understanding the game better: Wouldn't make selling the Ooze and buy the spell make his board so much stronger? Instead of a 2/4 body, he'd add +4/+8 to his board, a net increase of 2/4 in stats. Since at this stage there are no venomous units I know of, wouldn't that be a highly advantageous line of play instead of rolling once and not being able to make use of the new shop until next turn anyway?

Yeah but you're losing 1 gold to sell for future turn and the buff isn't really that impactful that'd you'd win a fight, but the 1 gold stuff still needs more detail thinking about curve which I can't do

even though i've been playing battlegrounds for 3-4years i like how you explain to newcomers easy strats to build up on. especially on the early game where you have time. otherwise on the mid- and late game you start to still explain your thoughts pretty cohesevely, for the more experienced players (not meaning that the less experienced players can't get any info about the game). in short: i like your commentary EDIT: 1. did not expect so many good memes in the beginning 2. you can steal golden monkey? even though (obviously) why not? second edit: muro can steal normal/non-golden copies of the oponnents board BUT golden monkey is special in the way that in its normal form it is a goldeb minion. so stealing it, results in stealing it golden

If you found it right away after it would be good. Idk about OP. It's only 20/20 a turn. Really good up to end of mid game but then other things go outscale it.

And you learn alot watching bgs content. Just dont do the memes if you care for mmr. The memes are a good strat but not taken to far. Try go for a fourth or three. Thats what i believe is the most effective way to learn the game.

He is a little harsh with himself sometimes, but he is trying to improve the way he plays, analyzing everything so if it's a mistake he can remember it for future matches to not repeat it. It's part of the fun for him.

So many missplays its crazy. How do you not put second kalli into play when you still have full hand of battlecries

cut a 65/65 that drains 20/20 for 1 kalli? i mean even with bran and 4 dragons you need to play battle over 8 battlecries in 19 seconds just to reach the 65/65 statline

Oh yeah, big misplay right there. Rolled into Kalegos with rope starting and he's said before he doesn't trust his APM on rope. He'd have to cut the Spellcraft. Play Kale, and cycle his hand in less than 20 seconds. Cards dancing on rope is not what you want to happen. He did his best and had fun, no misplay.

You must be trolling right? 20 seconds on the rope. No board space. To put the second Kali on the board means cutting 85/85 from the board to get 32/32 from the 4 battlecries played. It took me a couple of minutes to figure that out and Shady knew it was the correct play within a second.

When he plays on Twitchchat he is usually warming up or continuing to stream past his best focus. Not to speak for him but I believe that is the case. Until he plays worse than me I'll keep my mouth shut though ;)
