How the hell do you make stories with only laughs, grunts, snorts, and “HI”? EDIT: I’ve been getting a lot of replies telling me about other pieces of silent character media. I feel like I should further describe what I’m talking about. I’m not asking “physically how do you write this without dialogue” or “how do you make a progressing storyline without words”. I’m in awe about how well Seap showed the distinctive personalities of each character without a single word and only used expressions and sound clips to show how they act. Other silent media, say, Subspace Emissary as one of the commenter’s examples, doesn’t express the characters whatsoever
