@@blueeyesmew Do not be so hard on your voice, I know that one sounds deeper because to themselves as the sound has to travel through the bone of their head to hear. When I was stationed in Cambridgeshire about the time The Wall fell and the Cold War ended (and gulf war 1 suddenly) the locals all spoke this strange form of English I can only liken to verbal soup. They spoke sentences in one long slur that took me over a week of exposure to even begin to understand... now I cannot un-hear it, no form of British accent can faze me anymore. I really wonder how the internet has changed things in the hinterlands of East Anglia.

@@LiqnLag I'd definitely say the internet has played a part in promoting certain American spellings/pronunciations/turns of phrase among those who've grown up with it and/or primarily communicate through it.

@blueeyesmew I see you are a hardcore fan of this game just like me. It's good to see people still playing this game. I must say I loved your never give up combo with Priere and Christo, I wasn't aware of that trick and I must say I'm impressed! With that out of the way, I've recently created a map that goes beyond the difficulty of Carnage Baal at 20 stars. There are no strange puzzles or gimmicks going on, just 10 overly strong units you need to take down. You are also given a lot of free space to operate and do your stuff, the map couldn't simply be more straightforward. If you want to give it a try for the sake of further proving there's nothing you can't do in this game, you can meet my Almighty Army of Doom in the map editor -> challenge maps -> search map -> TCrinaleT. The map can be perfectly cleared without making use of anything illegitimate.

I saw the thread about this on GameFAQs. While I do have the PS4 version as well I mainly play the Switch version, and hence my actually strong units are on the Switch version, sorry. Best of luck finding people to challenge your map though.

@@blueeyesmew Oh that's a shame. I was hoping you to give a try to that map. I too have the switch version, but it's the other way around with me, I played the switch version for some time but I have all the strong units in the PS4 version mainly because my very first intention was to create some overly strong pirates that could invade other peoples' IW and give them a run for their money :P. Unfortunately, that feature does not exist in the switch version, so that's why I put all the work with my PS4 units. Also, I had a bit more faith in the online being slightly more active in the PS4 version than in the Switch, given Nintendo has never been very popular for having good servers and a lot of people interested in the online other than with very specific games such as Pokemon or Smash Bros Melee. Best of luck to you too :). I might come back and make some strong switch units if I see I have the time and motivation to do it.

I am a little confused about this. I have a level 545 tetrahedron and it only has about 750k in stats. I clear every floor I come across, but it's nearing the point that I can't go much higher because of the enemies. Should I skip killing enemies and just kill mystery floors, item; generals, kings and gods?

Assuming this is on 20* then the enemies should already have reached their maximum strength in a level 500+ item. As for what you should do, clearing floors and killing item bosses serve different purposes, so it depends on what the item is lacking: When you leave the item is the displayed kill bonus at least 400? If not then you need to keep wiping floors on 20* for more kill bonus. Are the stat bills in the Item Assembly all greyed out when when you can afford them and have spare bills to pass? If not then you need to kill more Item Bosses (on any enemy strength setting) for more training bonus. The setups in this series of Item World videos can handle Item World enemies at their hardest.

Could you make video walkthroughs of Carnage Dark with subsequent visits to get the third Unique Evility slots for the characters?

@@blueeyesmew I was struggling with this earlier today. The main problem was weak characters (10m stats) couldn't do any damage, so even if you lifted a strong character they'd do a whopping 0 damage at the end of the chain and couldn't finish off the 1 HP Carnage Dark. The keys to success were Team Attacks at the end of the combo (they actually do damage, unlike lifting Killia), the Chopstick Gun for Tag Champion (so Zetta didn't murder Dark), and the Friends For a Day bill for consistent Team Attacks. For those like me that were unaware, the Chopstick Gun is a reward for having 100 Gun mastery from the quest board. Since this isn't a speedrun my archers had Angel Song and Evil Eye to save on deploy slots (ditto for Mao). Kilia's evilities were setup like for Murmur of Rage IW farming (20m base stats), Zetta's for Comet Disaster (also 20m), Christo's for extract farming. I deployed my sacrifices differently than GreenZ did so Dark would be centered at the very beginning of the ramp (move them to the right, and place one extra unit to the side of the lower one), and Zetta should be in revenge mode for To the Death to be active. I have two moths setup like your extract farming vid, so I use them for Self Sacrifice. Thanks for your vids, I picked up D5 a few weeks ago and they've been very helpful. Thus far innocents are my biggest roadblock in trying to do things efficiently, particularly the stat ones.

@@Strasedon With 10m stat units you need +% stats (ideally 100%) and a stat buff to get around Carnage Dignity. It's much easier at 20m. If you're lifting a strong unit then it's the strong unit you need to buff.

Oh I almost forgot, the map is in the PS4 version of the game.

So regardless of what item Carnage or not you can infinitely go into right? And second question can an item be duplicated by the item God multiple times?

The Item World is infinite in Disgaea 5, yeah. The floor counter stops at 10,000 though (which is also roughly when the dupe mystery room reaches 100% dupe chance). Carnage items are just stronger to begin with, get stronger faster, and in some cases have more movement and/or jump (e.g. Carnage Barefoot X has 4 movement instead of 3). You can dupe an item multiple times, yeah. You just need to keep finding the dupe mystery room again each time.

@@blueeyesmew that brings me to another question tho what happens if you don't max out your kill bonus before leveling up your item ? Do you still receive the stat boost after the item is 500 ?

@@itzsnorelax7746 Yes, and in fact it's fairly typical for level to hit the soft-cap before you're done with everything else. The order you get levels, kill bonus, and training bonus in doesn't matter (other than enemies being strong at higher item levels). If you want to though, you can raise the level cap of an item via an expensive bill (that unlocks after defeating Carnage Dark). It can only be passed when the item is at the current level cap and increases that cap by 500 (until a cap of level 9999). Unfortunately those extra 9499 levels compared to level 500 only make the item a little stronger (~10%). This does however also increase the cap on kill bonus, eventually reaching a cap of 550 kill bonus (though kill bonus past 400 grows painfully slowly). A hard-capped item (max base stats, 100 rarity, level 9999, 550 kill bonus) has 500m HP and 2.5m non-HP compared to a soft-capped item (max base stats, 100 rarity, level 500, 400 kill bonus) having ~400m HP and ~2m non-HP. However 550 kill bonus requires around 146,667 kills on 20* compared to about 3810 kills on 20* for 400 kill bonus.

i cant understand about 30% of what you are saying...
