For discus deworming the main medecine composition is PRAZIQUINTEL +FLUBENDAZOLE ( or LEVIASOMLE as a substitute for Flubendazole ). LEVIASOMLE doesn't activate or work properly if the PH level of the water is above 7. Above 7 PH level LEVAMISOLE becomes toxic in the tank water. So caution has to be administered. Below PH 7 levels Levamisole works perfectly. These are the composition for deworming procedures in Quarantine tank for discus fishes. Flagellates and poor nutrition ( deprived of minerals and vitamins ) causes HITH or hole in the head disease for discus and primarily account for 60% in the discus fishes. Hope this small information benefits everybody.

Planted and scaped tank is best for discus.. bare bottom is good for us.. we keep bare bottom to reduce our effort not for the discus
