You keep whatever filter discus growth DEPENDS on fresh water, not just food.. weekly 2-3 times I will recommend!

Discus tank needs pristine water quality. This is only possible by maintaining a very high standard of filtration which is only possible through a fluidized moving bed media sump. In other words fluidized bed K1 media which generates maximum capacity of beneficial bacteria which digests or oxidizes Ammonia into Nitrites into nitrates. Ceramic media though porous is not that effective for growth of beneficial bacteria. Plant leaves are constantly dying and being renewed. When plant tissue dies it releases dissolve organic compounds. Dissolved organic compounds feed bacteria in the water coloumn. Siphoning is necessary for removing detritus accumulating at the bottom of the tank. More detritus will results in changes in the water parameters. 25% to 30% WC twice weekly is mandatory for discus tank until and unless you have a high quality filtration system.

ARROWANA UPDATE ASOK DAA

Want to say one thing...presence of benificial bacteria in water column is so minimal that it will not harm anything... beneficial bacteria needs surface area to colonize...so if one do not disturb the biomedia or sponge filters and able to handle water parameters like water chemistry and temperature its ok to do 80-90% water change..another thing you have to observe how your fishes are reacting with this either they are stressed out or not..but dont do 80-90% water change daily beacuse it is so much stressfull for the fishes.

Simple nahi hai ye fish ko रखनाः बाकी से जादा वीक fish hai इसको थोड़ा सा भी पानी Ganda हुआ तो ये fish me problem hona सुरू हो जाता है बाकी fish me ऐसा नहीं होता है उन सब फिश को रखने मे कोई v jada tension nahi rehta hai उन सब fish को 15 दिन में एक बार पानी चेंज करना padta hai सिर्फ.
