Discus feeding on Tubifex Worms

Our discus feeding on freeze dried tubifex worms. We feed regularly freeze dried tubifex worms to our discus, because this food is high in protein and it also stimulates digestion of the discus fish. Therefore we preferably give tubifex worms to our discus in the evenings, so that the next day the discus will eagerly feed on the main food like discus granulate or beefheart mixture.

Ever since i watched this video last year, this gave me an idea of feeding tubifex worms to my beloved discus. They loved it and it’s so fun to see them happy when it’s feeding time. It’s just annoying whenever the Tubifex cube falls out of the acrylic lol

I'm glad something will eat those worms. Apparently they love sewers. Beautiful fish, such stunning colours and patterns.

which light you use in your tank
Very nice discus. I just got my discus a few days ago and I heard tubifex worms may contain parasites. Is this true? I am still learning but I love my new discus.
