This is such a great and informative video. You talked about vendors refusing to sell stamp paper to women who have the right to divorce... I had the right and it took me two days to finally buy a stamp paper. I didn’t involve a lawyer because I was like wtf? If both law and religion give me the right, I will make sure that the vendor will sell me the stamp paper. But such things definitely ruin the rest of your day. I understand that making long KZread videos don’t make sense but do talk about family laws in upcoming different episodes.Women are clueless and easily misled. It’ll e great if they know their legal rights. Your suggestions are great but polygamy is there to stay till it’s islamic republic of Pakistan *sigh*

It's all and well to envision reform but do you foresee them taking place in the near future given the nature of our constitution? As you said, no law repugnant to the injunctions of Islam can be made under the constitution and most provisions of MFLO are the core of sharia. On a sidenote, great video! It's a refreshing perspective on the MFLO which isn't provided usually in law schools.

I don’t see any change in the foreseeable future; if at all, things will go from bad to worse.
