The best way to teach people is to entertain their inner child. You are great flight instructor!

Wow! Taxiing, taking off, flying the traffic pattern, and landing all on the first lesson? The student even got to sit in the left seat. The last time I did a “discovery” flight, I was essentially an observing passenger in the right seat. This is a great example of how all discovery flights should be.

This instructor’s voice made me so happy

Cfi has a God given gift teaching how to fly.. he could have coached a 3 y/o how to take off and land lol 💯💯💯

I literally teared up with joy watching this video! This instructor is amazing! I am on the road for my PPL. I currently have full time job and 3 kids! I don't know if I can pull this off but anything is possible. I will and will finish the entire journey of me being a private pilot! I wish this guy could teach me! I was able to finish half way unfortunately I didn't make it. Lol. I ran out of money but I enjoyed the study. Hoping to come back again in the future, If I win the lottery or win casino haha.

It is interesting to see how the instructor connects with the young man, puts him in confidence and it shows that he enjoys teaching and shows both confidence and mastery of the subjects. I would definitely like to learn from an instructor like this because he is exactly what you should expect from a "Discovery Flight". I liked watching the full video and I think you are a good instructor who would help any student to become a Pilot.

I have watched this video at least 10 times. This instructor is amassing. By far the most friendliest and calmest instructor I have seen on KZread. I would love to go up with him and possibly land a plane. A very inspirational video. The student seemed to have really learned allot in the short time in the air.

What a blessing of a human being this instructor is! Good luck everyone!

We do admit that getting your commercial pilots license is quite costly, but depending on the career choices you make, you can pay off that loan sooner than you think ;)

@@mcmurrayaviation depends on some luck as well, or connections, and a lot of hard work but can be done. One can get the job to be a mainlight flight attendant, or a private plane pilot.

This made me smile often throughout the video. He is an awesome and patient instructor- very patient, kind, and well spoken. I plan to take my first discovery flight and I hope to meet someone as warm in personality as He is! Makes me more excited to go on a discovery flight.

Gonna have my discovery flight tomorrow and watching this made me so happy and incredibly excited. You deepened my desire to earn my PPL. You are an outstanding instructor, sir!

I just became a CFI yesterday and I was watching to take notes on how to do a good discovery flight for my future students!

I want you as my instructor! So calm, so encouraging!

This is one of the greatest periods of instructions i have encountered! Amazing instructor! Amazing instruction, where would we be in a society if we had more individuals such as this gentleman. I think we can conclude Josh was very lucky! Impressive.

So this is what Spotys was trying to tell me in 100 videos! Fantastic instructor! He referenced the student by his name all the time!!!!

I did my first flight today and it was a tad overwhelming for me but it was such an amazing experience. But seeing other people's first time experience helped me understand that it's a normal first time reaction and having a amazing instructor like this guy really makes the experience better! My instructor was the same way! You can tell they enjoy taking people out for their first time!

Great video. I'm a new flight instructor and I will command my first discovery flight in a couple of days, so I wanted to check how it should go, what maneouvres to teach, what to do and what to say, just to make my passenger keep a smile like Josh's the whole flight. Very great job by Vignesh, good instructing and communicating

What an awesome instructor.. he is very qualified and that's what I love about pilots. Pro's to the end and you immediately feel comfortable with them next to you..

@@mcmurrayaviation It was very cool. I did not get to take off or land as it was very windy that day 26+ knots but I got to fly when we got up. I take my second flight in a few weeks!

By far one of the best introductory videos to a discovery flight instruction I've seen. You seem like a great instructor and show a real passion for flying.

Awesome video! I just took a discovery flight and my instructor let me take the controls for about 2 mins in straight flight-i would have loved to do everything that Josh did. I liked the way you talked/instructed him through every part of the flight. Great job!

I’ve been thinking about getting a ppl recently, but as a full time student, I don’t really have much time or money to get one. I only recently heard about discovery flights, and I think it’d be awesome to go do something like this

Reminds me of my first discovery flight years back. My instructor was as amazing as you are. That feeling of amazement of having done so much of the flying when all you expected was maybe touching the controls a few times in the air, and the sense of learning and accomplishment is indescribable. This flight instructor is awesome! He's so friendly and asks questions to determine individuals knowledge instead of just telling someone an answer and not knowing if they understand.

One of the calmest discovery flights I’ve ever watched. This is one of the most personable instructors I’ve seen teach the craft of flying, he’d be getting lots of repeat students due to this trait.
