Hey Jade! You sounded so brave telling your personal history, congrats!! Glad to see how ppl inspire other ppl... I was also planning to learn sailing this month, but it's been sadly postponed. I'm happy to see t by these guys are still on it, cos today I don't see anyone of us getting out of home... I really hope we all can continue enjoying sea life very soon and overcome our miseries merging ourselves in nature :) lots of virtual hugs to everyone from Dubai!! Stay 💪

@@jadeygame That's nice you were able to go sailing for your birthday! Hopefully the lockdown measures will be effective in reducing the infection rate to a sufficiently low figure, and allow life to get back to some form of normality (whatever that might look like after all this), and you'll be back out on the water again.

I always love your comments and reasons behind how should we help environment while sustaining local economy. It is refreshing to hear you being open minded and trying to understand different people and their reasons. I had this argument with my cousin who is a perfectionist and as soon as she puts her mind to an idea, she has to do 100% right. I feel that it is very hard to be 100% zero waste, vegan and travel in a sustainable way so I try to do all of that to some extent but I don't beat myself or others for not committing fully. Otherwise, I would be fully depressed about my failure. So yeah, keep an open mind, that is so important in this opinionated and close minded world! Love you guys!

I’ve been following your journey since I started my PhD 3 Years ago. Through all the ups and downs of that, your videos have been rays of sunshine and inspiration to me, and especially now as I write up my thesis (architectural history), in self isolation due to Covid19. Keep doing what you’re doing - it’s truly great and important, and I am SO glad you have little Lenny. This gorgeous boy is clearly the joy of your life, and he’s wormed his way into my heart too - seeing the adorable clips and watching him grow melts my heart every week. Riley and Elayna - This is now probably my most favorite video you have done. I have grown up on the Chesapeake Bay and have been following you for years so this one is personal (although I loved your visit to the Crab Claw!). In the region, the pandemic is now starting to hit hard and this video would make any Marylander so happy right now. You do a great service to our local environment with your explanation of the critical nature of oysters and understanding of the complexity of the problem. Your visuals and editing and, of course, natural enjoyment with Lenny and Dave accompanying, are beyond compare. To think that you have created this wonderful video needed at this time in the region knowing that it is a precursor to your unbelievable adventure getting Greta and her father to Europe is just amazing. Thank you so much and I hope your little family is safe and healthy at this time. Now, I'm off to the Patreon page . . . !

@@Bluuplanet I suspect it's not a question of being locked down, but where they can stay long term. Millions of people have returned to their home countries as the borders were sealed, and those borders will stay sealed for perhaps 18 months. Migration and tourism will be non-existent for a long time, especially as more xenophobic national populists come to power or are re-elected and have to contend with mass unemployment and quite likely hyperinflation.

As an Annapolitan myself married to a native, I really enjoyed your video of your visit to our little town. Back in the day Annapolis was deemed to be indefensible, so the main activity of commerce was moved to Baltimore. Once that happened Annapolis was not of much interest to invading armies or pirates. Because it was bypassed and never burned to the ground, we have the largest collection of Colonial and Federal era buildings. Our statehouse is the oldest capitol building in continuous use as a seat of government in the US. Starting in the mid-1960's the historic preservation bug hit the town hard. Magnificent buildings like the Paca House and the Hammond Harwood House, both of which are open for tourists, were restored with great precision. The Paca House is described in James Mitchner's tome "Chesapeake" albeit under a different name, and in the '60's it really did have a hotel hanging off the back. I see that your boat has the good stuff by B&G which was always my favorite. I sailed the bay for over 20 years in our 1977 vintage Endeavour 37, the "Happy Puppy." Unfortunately age and health forced us to give up our boat 18 months ago. We donated it to C.R.A.B., Chesapeake Recreational Access to Boating, which takes handicapped people out sailing, and it went to a good home, a couple from Dallas who are going to keep it nearby as a summer thing. Before I go I think I'm going to have to adopt Lenny, if as I guess his formal name is Leonard which is my middle name.

That little message at the end, i feel, everyone can easily say the same. These video’s can get real, at times, and the fact that you two always bounce back up is inspirational. Thank you Elayna & Riley, for all the hard work you guys put into these videos (and of course Lenny too) it doesn’t go unnoticed, much love from Cali!!

Awesome video, thanks! Been watching you guys for years, an American now living in Sweden. My Swedish wife and I used to travel to Annapolis for the weekends sometimes and we have been to the Annapolis Boat Shows several times. It's an awesome historical city with so much to explore and see. And Lenny's growls are hilarious, he's like a happy sailin' pirate, lol. Happy sailing, mates!

Thanks for painting a lovely picture of Annapolis. You captured the spirit and home town feel of the place we also call the Capital of our state of Maryland. Being from Baltimore, I visit there a great deal.

That was one of my favourite episodes for sure. Intelligently filmed and edited with all the details that made us feel that we lived it through your lens. The filming, the editing, the sound designing, the clipse orchestrating, Ohh it's brilliant it's just brilliant.

Your videos have gotten me through the last 2 weeks with the Covid virus. There hasn’t been a lot that has made me feel better, but your videos are such a bright spot! Who doesn’t smile when seeing that adorable, crazy, growling toddler? I’m starting to feel much better and thank you for being a ray of sunshine during this uneasy time.
