“The Zentangle ® Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. We call these patterns, tangles. You create tangles with combinations of dots, lines, simple curves, S-curves and orbs. These simple shapes are the "Elemental Strokes" in all Zentangle art. These patterns are drawn on small pieces of paper called "tiles." We call them tiles because you can assemble them into mosaics.

I see how to draw flowing fabrics now, so awesome. I love the ones where 150 ideas come to mind in an instant, this will be so much fun. I'm really liking this month, it's better then Christmas because I know I'm getting a gift I will enjoy every day. Thank you so much.

From Angele💝 Cyndee's pearl of the day; ".....I find that one of the things that Zentangle is great at doing is "putzing" with your attitude.....that whole "no mistake" thing is pivotal." 👏 Love the tangle!

Cyndee, thank you so much. I sort of hated this pattern till I followed you through it. And now I love it. That says a lot for your teaching. I love how yours came out. I'll have a different challenge cause I'm doing mine on craft colored paper and just using black and white. I'll post on the Zenders when I'm done.

Yes, it was me… (AKA Sandy Banks/Annie Sargent ) daily practice strengthens the hand AND the eye hand coordination… so you do start to feel better about your drawing skills… Thanks, Cyndee, for remembering my comment. Enjoying being with y’all today! NOTE: sometimes you will improve your line art by having the nib farther away from your ‘control’/pressure… try doing a series of lines close to the nib and then further away to see which you prefer. What I see with those I ‘teach’ is that the consistency of their wiggly lines is their art style… and it does have its own appeal. Cyndee has helped me to be a better teacher of my small group of older adults who do have various limitations - doing it is the first half of the challenge!

On short form videos-as for me, I’ll watch and tangle along with anything you publish!!! With that being said, I love love love these YTs you are doing now best. I didn’t especially like the lives as well but could draw along fine and that was the most important thing for me. I didn’t know you were back online until tonight. I also enjoy these daily exercises like Inktober and I actually started watching you on the last year you did almost daily the whole yeat!!! And loved it. I actually learned so so much about zentangle from you doing that, plus as practice makes “perfect”, my skill improved over that time. (As you say-muscle memory!). I even went back to the prior year(s) and followed along on those waiting for you to return. Since I haven’t heard I’m guessing you had some medical issues which kept you away over that extended time and I’m hoping you continue to improve!!! It must have been a longer time than I realized because hearing your son talk on a later video (I’m watching from #16 back to first to catch up)-he sounds so much older now!!! Side note- I lost my beloved husband 2 years ago to COPD so I’ve had a hard road to travel to get my brain back to wanting to art/draw/sew!! Having these videos will be a blessing for me and I hope you are able to publish many more even if they are short ones. Thanks and I’m looking forward to locating all my fun supplies I acquired watching you before and getting back on the ”horse” as we say here in a Texas (and Oklahoma too I’ll bet!). ❤ Nancy
