“The Zentangle ® Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. We call these patterns, tangles. You create tangles with combinations of dots, lines, simple curves, S-curves and orbs. These simple shapes are the "Elemental Strokes" in all Zentangle art. These patterns are drawn on small pieces of paper called "tiles." We call them tiles because you can assemble them into mosaics.

Perfection is an illusion. No one is going to do it perfect. Thats what makes it beautiful....the perfectly imperfection of it all. This is to look and find the zen....the relaxation point in putting pen to paper. The power of just letting your mind relax and your hands take over and the rhythm of your breathing help make the pen strokes. Letting go of all that pent up anxiety. Learning that the end result is only the destination but the joy is in the journey. Love you Cyndee and I'm so glad your back.

I love these, one of my favorites. I'm so glad you did this one. It helped me to see how to crowd them better. That has been my struggle. Thank you so much. 💕

To anyone that is fearing the day they won't be able to draw, I've only been drawing for a short time maybe a month. But in 2019 I got a diagnosis that I had a rare eye disease and go figure no wonder my Lasik seem to not be working anymore. I was told my vision would grow worse quickly. However, often it will help when a person is in their sixties. I'm 55 now. I'm kind of hoping I get to the 60s quicker LOL my vision is bad, at times it's very difficult for me to see lines as individuals lol they all kind of blend into one. Anyway, I'm enjoying myself and nobody's going to stop me. One day I may be working with poster markers LOL but that's 👍 💕

Hi Cyndee, I'm from the UK and a year or two back I became interested in tangling, and after looking at a few different people I stumbled across your wonderful videos, and instantly loved your style..you are such a lovely lady, and I so enjoyed looking and trying a few different ones, and was disappointed when you stopped putting them up, but now understand as you have had these terrible problems with your health which must be so difficult and frustrating for you. I was so pleased to see that you had returned for the Inktober this year and have been following along, but am well behind, but will catch up. I make cards and have used a few on cards for friends and family, and I mainly use stamps and inks and love being creative. I decided to skip some others for now and watch this last one and am delighted that you have decided to carry on now you have got back into it, and look forward to watching and learning new tangles, and will enjoy having a go at some...I love the more organic ones but am not so keen on the geometrics as I find them more difficult..I am somewhat of a perfectionist but am trying not to be. Thank you so much for inspiring us all!

I used ad block before and loved it to death, I could watch hour long video's and it was only an hour or a 15 min video was only 15 mins, but they made me take it off. If I use it now I have to click twice to play a video so no more long line of pre selected videos plus the ability to walk away from the P C to do chores while listening if I have to run back every time to click my brains out. So I disabled it for this media and still an inconvenience because there are so many ads and yes you do get the option to click out of them but after they have played for 4 seconds, so I can go do my dishes knowing that my wet hands will not be clicking off of any ads, and so a 15 min vid can take about 35 mins to watch. If it is in the deeply grey zone of You Tube they will bombard it to death with ads and that little video will easily take up to 45 mins to watch. depends on how bad you want truthful news. It's a pain but still most of the time I am on this media or Rumble has it has room for free speech and I have yet to see an ad. But I do still have ad block. It is free or you can donate. You Tube teases the hell out me by playing the ad block ad frequently.
