IU is the real deal, she has EVERYTHING. Vocals, talent, looks, and the hugest heart. She is a great song writer & lyricist, and literally an A list actress in korea. Alot of ppl mentioned her drama Hotel Del Luna but my favourites of her acting are actually in My Mister (bawled my eyes out) and The Producers. As a person, she is the most humble, genuine, mature, giving person ever. Nobody is perfect but IU might be.

I got super curious abt her bec of The Producers. That got me hooked on her actually. 😁

fun fact: IU had to modify the way she sung around the beginning of her singing career to cater to a larger audience. In her first song Mia and in her JYP audition, she had such a powerful voice at a young age. Uaenas know she has the ability to sing and belt if she wanted to, and we get excited anytime she shows a little bit of her full singing ability. That strategic decision has definitely been beneficial in her career as a singer. I feel like I'm constantly being surprised at how much she's improved as an artist as the years go by.

so glad you discovered her! she's definitely one of my favourite solo artists out there. Went to her concert once as a non-fan (more like a casual listener), and I left the concert being her fan. her personality is very likeable and she really gives off the friendly, super nice vibe to the fans. listening to her voice live is out of this world!

I would actually love for you to watch her perform NAKKA with Suhyun and Chanhyuk, they performed it when AKMU guest starred in IU's Palette Live. They show some insane control and incredible talent. If you haven't seen AKMU in action, you'll be blown away by them as well!

Before this album she was Korea's Little SIster and had a very "pure" and "innocent" image.
