That is a beautiful village - thank you! It would be glorious on a sunny Summer's day, with pots of flowers everywhere... sitting outside of one of the many cafes. Wendy is a good mum! I agree about keeping Pippin proactively safe

Lovely place, wish we had aires like this in the UK for a sensible rate, since COVID, it’s often cheaper to stay in a Premier Inn Room with a free car park than stay on some camp sites which is ridiculous if you are touring

It's a very sad reflection on the UK isn't it. European countries are much bigger and have more space so maybe it's understandable that there are more Aires around. Often we stay at CL sites in the UK. They much lower cost that proper sites but have fewer facilities a bit like aires.

Most definitely 👍 The life we have travelling full time is and has been the most enjoyable and fulfilling. Not knowing where we will go tomorrow can be a little scary but so exciting and adventurous that is difficult to think of a better way of living 👍😀😎

We waited far too long after we got back to the UK in August 2020 to start travelling again. Of course that only becomes obvious now we are in Spain again 👍😀😎

I take it caravans can’t stop on these aires

Toll road prices are crazy, if they turned every road into a toll road it wouldn't be worth travelling or maybe thats the plan. If they cant stop people from travelling, make it so expensive that they wont bother is probably where we're all headed in the future. You may want to consider getting pippin some krill oil capsules for the arthritis. Also just a quick point, i think you may be letting pippin go to far ahead of you both when shes off the lead, at our age if she got into difficulty with anything such as another dog off it's lead that isn't particularly friendly to other dogs or if someone just picked her up and took her your at the wrong age to be running after her and its so easy for dogs to get into difficulty. Just saying as we are also in our mid 60s and we only let our dogs off the lead in an enclosed field and if im not sure about the security of said feild I use a 50 ft training lead just saying remember the snake bite saga.
