Yeah when we visited last year for a few weeks Vacay. I really dug the vibes of Bohol. To me, it was the most complete island in my opinion. From mountain to the sea, and from the city to the provinces. It had so much to offer. Not too crowded also. A strong possibility, as my future home. Hope to see you in Alona beach, brother!

Chris, our family was watching you while we had supper. 😁 The kids are so excited. We're excited. Truly beautiful. You're smack in the middle of summer there, seems like you've acclimated to the heat. How are you doing with the heat? Here in Texas, we get hot & humid too, but there's nothing like Pinas heat & humidity. We gave our eldest a drone for Christmas this past year and he said he's definitely bringing it to get some beautiful shots. Thanks again Chris. Looking forward to more of your adventures. Ingat.

@@CarefreeChris ok you are giving me the itch. I am sitting in my condo in Roxas city. Mapping out to Leyte from Roxas looks like 11 hours. I could stop in Bago Cebu it’s 7 hours and two ferry rides. I M thinking!!!!!!So keep the video’s coming. I do agree with you sometime it’s better to travel alone that way you have the freedom to just do what you want to do. Sometime when I travel I find a place I may stay longer. So take care and be careful.
Be careful to be on the road can get addictive 😅 the more your roam around the more you want to do it 😂😂 but it is a great way to see the Philippines and to get out of your comfort zone

Since you are in Leyte, I would suggest you take your bike to the island with Manila (Luzon?) and see that area. Batangas was interesting as a possible place to stay and Mindoro is nearby. Have fun

Thanks for sharing. Ya, your X3 is now obsolete; the X4 (8K 360° video) launched the day before yesterday 😁. I'm currently geeking up on it before pulling the trigger to upgrade. I'm torn between taking my mini or my full-size camera drone with me over there. I'd prefer to bring both among many other toys (golf gear, skydiving rig, maybe also a paraglider rig, DSLR cam and lenses, old-fart maintenance effects, etc.) but they certainly are gonna eat up my luggage weight allowances. I guess I'll just have to pony up for the excess weight charges. You gotta pay to play, right? My two pocket gimbal cams and two action cams are not an issue as they're very light and tiny. I dunno. I'm more of a white-sand beach paradise with convenient modern amenities kinda dude so my ideal place to settle in would be Boracay. Whether I will like it or not remains to be seen. So where's the sunset time-lapse?

Nice video, Chris! That's cool that you had a roof deck to film from. Was it part of the hotel you were staying at? Since you're traveling solo now and you had a little bit of a frustrating moment with getting your drone to land, I think you should name the drone, Wilson. 🏐 😁

I googled that place & looks like a good enough hidden gem. Seen any festivals in the country yet? Try common Pinoy foods like green bean or black bean stew or any with coconut milk base, served in carinderias etc. Hope you got twinrix though, just in case.

Some great footage of the pretty multi-colored rooftops in every direction. Do you have to get any kind of permission for flying the drone? Was wondering if it were to hit an antenna or high voltage cable or something else? Maybe it has some built-in proximity alarm or safety functions that prevent such? How much for a night in the hotel. Hope to get back there before too long. Thanks for the show…

Chris what do you recommend as far bringing cash, USD? most of what i see, the exchange places do not give you the official exchange rate because they got to make their money. unless the banks give you the true exhange rate, it might not be worth bringing a lot of cash, thanks.

So if you’re going to ride in Luzon on the interstates you’ll need a 400 cc and up bike. That’s only in the Manila area where you probably don’t want to ride anyway. If you’re looking for a motorcycle I’m a fan of two bike. The NX500 or the Himalayan 450. If you’re looking for a scooter I’d get the NMAX for the ADV

@@CarefreeChris Sorry to contradict a bit... expressways go down to southern Luzon and north of Manila as far as Baguio now. Going there was a long endeavour in the past over winding and partially dangerous roads. With the express way up there, this belongs to the past. But you have to have the proper vehicle. Scooters and skate-boards are not permitted, unless your skate-board got 400 cc. Just checked the options to go there on google map. If you go the traditional old route, it takes you 7 hours from Manila. Via expressway, you need just over 4 hours
