Because its explaining how the actual sensor works. Its an industrial product for large companies and governments mostly to surveil important areas. This kind of information is important for those actually in the market to buy one.

Maybe some example photos or video would have been nice 👍

It's already doable with specialized photomultiplier tubes by Photonis.

Where is examples? probably the results are so "excellent" that they were even afraid to show them 😅
