A really useful video and at last I know how to effectively use the Clone Tool as well as the nuances of the other two. I am impressed as to how powerful these tools are and saves me having to go to Photoshop from ACR to effectively clean up my image. Great tips and have now subscribed!

Hey Julieanne, I noticed when you worked on the stairs with the Content-Aware AI tool you were able to go back over it again a second time with same tool. I am not able to do this... I have the latest Lightroom. Could you shed some light on this. Also if I have used the Content-Aware tool on an area I am unable to use the spot removal tool on the same area. Help?? Thanks for al your tutorials!

Thanks for the informative video. Sometimes I get a scissors icon showing up when selecting one of the healing modes, any idea why that is happening and how it can be fixed? With the scissors visible I can’t select an area to delete, clone or fill.

Good stuff! One question tho - the tools in this LR module often lug my computer down and even freeze it. Yet in Adobe Camera Raw, it doesn't. Any idea/guess why?

I've been using LR 5.2 from a disc for years, but just decided to spring for the LR classic/photoshop subscription. All has been going fine until I went to use the healing tool. I figured it would work approximately like the spot removal on 5.2, so I just clicked on it, rather than seeking instruction. Immediately the image gets this crazy black and white line drawing/cartoon look. what is wrong?
