Discover How To Raise And Lower Your Land Rover Discovery 3 With Your key Fob

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I programmed the 3rd button on the Land Rovers key fob to turn on the head and rear lights, set the panic or alarm, open the tailgate, raise and lower the air suspension. In a few seconds, you will learn how to change to your favorite feature for your Land Rover.

Hey seriously, the air suspension was one of my favorite things on this vehicle... and the first thing to go out... Because of your video I was able to program my fob, raise the suspension and prove it wasn't the compressor (thus saving myself $1000+). I can't express how awesome you are for having made a simple video!

Yeah. I have a 2011 Vogue in Australia and it's the same. The hazard light requirement is obviously for safety/liability reasons as an extra measure to avoid people getting stuck under the vehicle, etc. Sounds silly, but stranger things have happened. The owner's manual suggests that this function is useful when hooking up your boat, camper trailer etc. so that you can get the hitch to the desired height.

I used to own a 2006 Land Rover LR3 V8 SE in Tonga Green Pearlescent with the same interior color as your LR3, and honestly I wish I knew about this feature, my Land Rover button has set on panic, and I had no idea that it can be changed to do other functions, I guess if I would have read the owner's manual I would have found that out. I also watched your other video about putting it into extended and super extended mode, I wish I would have known of that too when I had mine, I always loved riding in off-road height, I wish you could have kept it at that height going at any speed, here in New Jersey, it is impossible to drive 30 mph or less anywhere here. It was nice getting to watch your video and seeing and hearing the LR3 start up, I do miss the sound of that Jaguar 4.4 liter V8 engine starting up, but I don't miss my 17mpg fuel economy, lol.

Very informative video and thank you for sharing your knowledge. I own a 2005 LR3 V8 HSE with 160K miles and love it! I keep up with the required maintenance with the dealership but they sometimes miss a few things which I have to point out. I would prefer not to pay the high cost charged by the dealership for regular maintenance and repairs. Being disabled, I can not do the work myself so can you recommend any mechanics in the Maryland or Virginia area who work on Land Rovers? The back hatch won't stay up when open and I have a suspension problem. Any info that you can share will be appreciated.

Also what model is your? I always did like the 2008 Range Rover HSE models but I've decided on the Land Rover for it's specific purpose. I was also considering a Hummer or the Jeep Commander. I really want a loyal, quality vehicle for the off path terrain. What do you think? You're really helping a lot of people. Many who are highly intelligent but still need you for even the simple things like........ how to use that key FOB. Whatever advice or recommendation you have for my is greatly appreciate. You will come to enjoy the terrain response system, set it and just go. For me, the LR3/LR4 is way more than just an off-road and that is what drove me to want one. I really love the room and on-road driving comfort. Oh yeah, mine is a 2008 with 160k miles.

Hello my friend great video, but on mine which is a French version only the front tail lights turn on when I program the remote, and also if I push the button within 2 seconds or less, but it turn off the lights... Maybe a fonction only for American cars.

Hey oxmanagain. We share the same taste in Land Rovers. Wondering if you have ever replaced the valve cover seals or even had the valve cover off. I need to replace a spark plug tube seal (Passenger side) and am curious if it is even possible without a major disassembly. Have you ever?

I would have to read the manual because I don't have navigation so that's something that I've never really looked into.

The Range Rover Sport is a little better on the inside. But for me, I love the 3rd row. They are both very nice SUV's but it all depends on your needs. The LR4 has more cargo room and the Sport is more sporty. If you have need the room for passengers or say hauling stuff, I would go with the LR4. By the way, the raising and lower is my favorite also.

Hi, When I try to program the tailgate to open the alarm will go off and it wont let me program the tailgate function, any suggestions? Also I have to slam the tailgate to shut it. Any advice on how to adjust the latch?

I tried to program the LR button to activate my headlights and reverse lights. It switched on the headlights with the first press and switched them off with the second press. It turns out the car needs a CCF edit to make the reverse lights come on with the second press. So I edited my car and it worked but it also gave me a plethora of dash warning lights and I lost function the audio unit and sat nav screen so I changed it back again.
