Beautiful place...graceful and lovely people, calm and pleasant environment on the other side of the world. It reflects so much on the person I've met in Australia who lived in this place. He spells Sweden. I've enjoyed the experience with such character;; that I hope to accidentally meet him in one of the strets of Gothenburg someday..

Well, I'm looking forward to. Just wondering if there's a possibility that there will be one thing that could piss me off in such a nice place. If there was any, then it will still be a lot of fun other wise I'll get bored if it's too good. LOL...Go Sweden! I luv ya!

I'm from Venezuela. I've been there in 2000, For 3 months: I Stayed in Södravagen 55, very close to Korsvagen, from where a used to take a tram to go Ericcson Microwave System at Möndal for a course there. I only can imagine how wonderful Göteborg should be today. I hope I may be there again in my life and see their pleasant and beautiful places.

I've always wanted to visit Sweden and especially Gothenburg. I've noticed over the years that I relate and act a lot more like Swedish and Finnish people then actual Americans and I love Swedish culture. I might try to immigrate from America to become a Physiotherapist. I would much rather live in Gothenburg then Stockholm.

Gothenburg is an amazing city, I am there pretty much daily, live just outside of it. There are many great places to visit, Slottsskogen, Botaniska Trägård, Liseberg, Gothia Towers, or if you want to shop, Nordstan. Great city!

Hi, I was wondering if y'all can help me out I'm going to Gothenburg in a week for a workshop and to see a few universities is their anything essential I need to take like a basic rundown on what to pack and as well how to act? Thanks and sorry if I sound immature this is actually my first flight to another country and I don't want to offend people in my visit.

chamopapaya444 Hi, this may be a late respond, but in Gothenburg, people act different, just be normal and they wont look strange at you ;D. If you want to take a rundown, just go for the bus tour or the boat tour i guess. they'll show you the Downtown city. You wont offend anyone on your visit, its like 200 nationalities in sweden haha, all are different.

nriab23 yes many!! And trust me it is not expensive. For 99kr you'll get a nice burger with beer and frize etc. But if you go to a fancy restaurant it will cost probably 150kr

chamopapaya444 where you from? Yeah it is ok here, I would never move to Stockholm, because it feels like another country for me haha :) it is a huge difference between Stockholm and gothenburg. The city of Stockholm feels like you are in Berlin or something, it is very expensive in Stockholm and underground trains everywhere... Here in gothenburg you can relax and see the whole city with a bus tour and a "boat" tour :) its cheaper and people here are more nicer than stockholmers ;)

FireInTheCold Its funny how, Sweden let refugees in just to blame all the rape case that was made by swedish person (yes blonde guy etc). Oh, fuck! Its was a secret. damn Sorry man for leaking the truth.

All my life, I've been living in Göteborg (gothenburg) and been seeing drunk Swedish men everywhere. Its pretty dangerous because of them. Me and my friends was almost kidnapped and who knows raped (?) by two drunk Swedish men who followed us after the city at 6pm and it was winter so it was dark too but there was alot of people outside. I use to walk home alone, hearing drunk swedish men (sometimes women) yelling and following me after until I at last run from their sight. And when I tell my friends about it, they tell me the similar story which had happen them. I'm full Swedish, born and raised. I love everyone which out racist fucks who blame everything on refugees, black and muslims. It doesn't matter which background you've, those drunk craving sex will follow you after so be careful + all rape cases its not made by muslim. Its a stereotype that Swedish people make up to clear their drunk swedish folks. Its a lie and a myth they've been passing on to "Americans" because they're the easiest to brainwash. But other wise Göteborg are good, its not always happening this but maybe 5 times a month or if you're unlucky then 7 times a month. Yes, I'm full Swedish.
