I always felt like the narrator voice was his voice before all the drugs and alcohol. Reptilian brain is the aftermath of his self destruction.

Physically morphing Harry into his skills was *mwah*, magnificent work

The moment Harry turned into the skills I knew I was watching a MASTER work. God damn, this is EXACTLY how I imaginated how happened in his mind. You have so much talent, really hope u blow up in fame! Have my subscription

This was literally the most impactful and human moment in this game. Disco elysium is one of the only 10/10 games for me

Harry needs to burn that letter.

This is simply amazing. The raw emotion in Harry's voice... It's enough to make a man shed a tear of sorrow into the ever growing depths of our sadness.

Legit though, first time watching this scene... it was really rough. There is excellent writing in this; the kind of writing from someone who knows what it's like.

My first playthrough was qmazing. When this scene came and it was about 'oh my god, your talking in trees again' i had to stop right after that moment and it fucked me up. I wasnt playing a character, the character thinks and says exectly what is there, going down a list in his mind.

Oh wow. Wowowowow. Oh the expressions in this, the boarding, the skills transformation… the sea… wow. And the lighting!! The austere, artificial sort of glow around Dolores from the street lights vs Harry dimly backlit by the sunset over the ocean… oh wow. That’s so clever and evocative. Oh, Tequila Sunset… And my gosh, this voice for Harry brought me to tears with that delivery on, “You, you. Every step I take, it gets lighter. It almost makes me run. Sometimes I do.” Legitimately amazing performance reading that letter, the way Harry cycles between resentment and betrayal and heartbreak and back around to exhaustion. What a beautiful video. Thank you so much for this, I can’t stop watching it

Harry breaks my fragile little heart

The game does a really good job of getting you to feel for the interactions it has with only text and speech to hand, but this rendition of Harry, his manner and voice, reveal the limitations of simple words.

We don’t need her, we have kim and revachol (through shivers the city directly tells you it loves you)

The quote that shoved a steak through my heart was “I terminated yours and kept the other man’s child” I was like. “UUUGHHH MY CHEST!! UUUUUGGGHHHH” it literally physically hurt me to hear that. Imagine your wife terminating your child and then keeping another man’s while you’re still together. Omggggg

That wasn't the quote, and Dora being pregnant with someone else's child is just part of Harry's nightmare. As far the the game let's us know Dora left revachol just so she won't meet harry again and only then she got a new partner, I suppose leaving a traumatic long relationship she wouldn't be in a hurry to get a new partner

Wow, this animation did a good job with making me cry. This might be TMI to be in a comment section, so feel free to skip. Recently I've been diagnosed with PTSD and abandonment anxiety. Replaying and seeing Disco Elysium fan contents suddenly clicks in a different way and it hurts to able to relate to Harry with how Dora is a huge trigger for him. The coldness of those people who have abandoned you is real.

Great animation! Recently play it trough, and this scene, and the moment, when illusion of Dora say's "-I,'m prgenant -From this man, that I heard? -Yes, of course. I aborted child from you, don't you remember, you freaking beggar" I was just devasteted, even of this the way how Garry remember and inerrept his past, it still make me sorry

The animation work in this is phenomenal, I know it's been said already but that morphing of Harry's thoughts one into another is great.

She did stay with him for longer than she should, making the hurt worse for both of them, she has the privilege to leave, but not before harry being awful for a really long time, the start of the game shows that even if your harry doesnt have high physical skill, he is still really destructive while drunk. Like the hanged man in the dream says, both of them hurt each other
