Didn’t understand the game, but always love when Paul and Hannah play! Maybe next time do a Rip’t game with Paul and Hannah!

I love all the fun variations of disc golf. It's amazing what you can do with a piece of plastic and some creativity in the woods.

Man, these videos are so entertaining! I just wish they were longer. Paul throwing a stick on hole 9 to mess with Hannah's putt then claiming it fell out of a tree is typical Paul...cracks me up

the owners of Discraft used to play this every Saturday morning sometimes at a private course, sometimes at Addison Oaks. Then they would come sit at my bar for beer and talk DG, I never got out with them to play, but I wouldn’t mind another chance. 😉😉😉

Kyle Weir, yup I understand that. The audible snap comes from grip strength, but it also comes from release velocity. Which it seems like Hannah is generating a lot more of.

Didn't understand a lick of that game explanation that Paul gave but I still love the video! 😂

We always played 1st person to tee can call wolf on themselves. Otherwise you have to pick your partner right after they throw. If you wait for last thrower to call partner, you have to take that shot. Points don't push on next hole. Win the hole = 2 for wolf, 1 if you partner.

We used to play this when I played college ball golf a lot.. A few other variations we would throw in that make it fun. Option 1: The wolf had to pick its partner while the shot was in the air. If the shot hit the ground and the wolf hadn't picked them they then couldn't pick them. Makes thing interesting at times. Option 2: The person who the wolf picked could drop them and go solo themselves. and Option 3 and my favorite was playing combined score when it was 2v2.. makes you think about your partner and how well they play all around not just how their tee shot was. All fun! love playing wolf! Really fun with 5 people so its always 3 vs 2. or 4 on 1

Pretty sure the “Wolf” is the first person to tee, you get double points for lone wolf and points push just like skins.

This is exactly what I was going to post. We were playing this down in Orlando back in the late 90s. The only other thing is that if you call Wolf and you tie or lose the hole, the opposing team gets double skins. If the hole is worth 5 skins because they pushed, the other team would get 10 if you called Wolf and didn't win it outright.

Same. But we do blind wolf (call it before you throw), which tripled the points, and lone wolf you can call after you throw.

I play the same, but no push on points. Also, if you're the wolf, and you want to take your own shot, you need to howl hahaha

Ist on tee is wolf.. blind wolf x3, wolf x2.extra twist.. If hasn't picked a parter or Wolfed by last on tee last has the option to blind pig x3,pig x2

You should do this, but only throwing Innova Wolf's. Or where the Wolf gets to use whatever they want, but everyone else has to use only wolf's, this could encourage some bigger point scoring.

I see another blindfolded couples challenge coming. Hunter & Zach vs. Hannah & Paul. Hunter & Zach will both each get to throw blindfolded, and they can choose which shot they want to go with. Paul will do it like the previous blindfolded challenge and must make the shots only with Hannah's assistance. Also! Congrats to Zach and Hunter for not falling or having a voice crack!! Yall are growing up so fast 😭😭😭

This is how we play (both golf and disc golf) - Gather four players - Decide order of players. The order "rolls" on each subsequent hole. For example on first hole: 1, 2, 3, 4. Hole 2: 2, 3, 4, 1. Hole 3: 3, 4, 1, 2, and so on*. - The player who tees off _first_ on each hole is the wolf. - The wolf then watches each subsequent drive. After _each_ drive, the wolf decides whether to partner with the player-- who just drove-- for the remainder of the hole (2 v 2) *before* the next tee shot. If the wolf chooses his _own_ shot, the hole is played 1 v 3. - If the play is 2 v 2, the winning double gets 1 point each - If the play is 1 v 3, the winning side gets 6 points (The wolf gets 6 or the hunters get 2 points each). - If the score is tied, it's a wash. There's no push to next hole. - The wolf can declare "Lone Wolf" before any drives and get 9 points winning the hole. *Hole 17 and 18 the player in last place is the wolf.

@@zfoell Yeah. The rules aren't complicated, there's just a lot of them, and keeping score is a little busier. Simply a variant on "match play", instead of one point per hole, the "wolf" (first person to tee off the hole) can get 9, 6, or 1 point and the "hunters" (other three players) can get 3, 2, or 1 point each. If the player who is the wolf declares "Lone Wolf" before any throws, and wins, he gets 9. If he loses, the other three players get 3 each (9 split three ways). If it's a tie, no points. If the player as wolf doesnt declare "Lone Wolf", he can partner with any of the remaining three players. First, he tees off. Then the next player tees off. The wolf must decide whether to partner with _that_ player *before* the next tee shot. If not, player three throws and wolf decides whether to partner before the last player tees. If the wolf partners with any player, the hole is worth one point each to the winning double. The wolf can decline to partner with any player after all tee shots are thrown, and if so, the hole is worth six points to winning side-- six to the wolf or two each to the remaining three (who play as a triple). As one can see, going lone wolf is very risky. A wolf has one chance per lie, where the other three get three chances per lie (after picking the best one each time).

Great video! You guys are lucky to be able to throw at real baskets. I went to my local (free) course the other day, only to find that they had pulled up every basket on the course. I think I might just have to put the big trash cans in different places around the yard.

If you win the hole it’s great cause you get 3 points but losing the hole means you lose a point to the card

I struggle with throwing backhands just flat out too high, sometimes it's nose up but mostly I throw it too high. Any tips for keeping a backhand throw low and nose down?

The wolf goes first on every hole.... And you have to howl to be alone wolf. Also if you don't howl then don't pick before the last shooter then you get stuck with them....
