DISASTER DETAIL!!! '05 Mazda 3 | First Detail in 5+ Years | Cerakote Headlight Restoration
This Mazda hasn't been cleaned in years. I detailed/ cleaned the exterior and restored the headlights using the Cerakote Headlight Restoration kit. I cleaned / detailed the interior with degreaser / carpet cleaner / 303 aerospace protectant / and whatever products I had at my disposal to make this car awesome. The carpet extractions came out epic. This sedan earns its place as the car with the most amount of non-garbage items in one vehicle.
Thanks for watching and in case you forgot, I think that you are awesome!!!

Be honest you've got a soft spot for the Classic Mazda Zoom Zooms.

I totally have a soft spot for the 2000s era Zoom Zooms. I drove a 2000 Mazda 626 for a decade and I have more love for that car than most of the other cars I have owned.
Heavens to Betsy! That driver's seat was nauseating. You do good work. Thank you,

Thank you bru. This Mazda was an adventure from start to finish. I was lucky enough to test a 50/50 detail on camera on this one a few months after the detail and it was so sick! Great canvas for sure!
Extraction Madness. even the foam was brown lol! Another well done detail. You are amazing.

Those extractions were crazy for sure! I will never know what that brownish color under the driver side seat was, maybe Pepsi or something?
I got that same headlight kit and almost died inhaling the fumes bro gah damn , if I get cancer in the future it’s for sure that

I’ll admit that I chuckled a bit from your message, but obvi I don’t want you to die. Just the ceramic wipes that nearly took you out? I’ve used this ceramic and then just the Adam’s Graphene, Ethos, CQuartz, and a few other products. The only real benefit to this kit is that it’s just enough. Those other times I was coating the vehicle and just did the headlights as well. How long ago did you do it? Is it still holding out?
Borderline hoarder stuff there, man! Great job with the transformation. Hopefully this encourages the owner to keep it less cluttered and keep coming back to you for refreshes

Right? ha ha. This one takes the cake for most non-garbage items I have ever removed from a vehicle in my entire life. Some of those stains were really deep in there. I was glad that they came out as awesome as they did. Thanks for watching bru!

Any tips and product suggestions for doing detailing at home on a 2006 mazda 3 gt paint and windows and such?
@P4SDetails

Interior Windows I would say Invisible Glass is a solid product. It’s fairly affordable. Paint, I recommend a good stripping wash followed by a clay mit and a ceramic spray or Graphene ceramic spray. I prefer Adam’s, but Turtle Wax, CarPro, Chemical Guys all have one out there. After the paint protection, you can use a solid PH Neutral soap like Mr. Gold from Chemical Guys and it should have really solid results. I have another video on detailing for under $100 that is a very solid way to go.
Do you ever go back and watch your old videos and wish there was a part of the detail you did different? I don’t have anything I am thinking of, just was curious if you did after realizing this video has been up for as long as it has!

I absolutely go back and watch my old videos. I usually don’t have a ton of regrets on the detailing end, sometimes products aren’t my favorite, but I am usually pretty pumped with how the details turned out. I do cringe when I look at how I filmed or acted rigid on camera. Details I usually love though.
how much does an exterior detail like this run from you?
@P4SDetails
2 жыл бұрын
Just an exterior on a sedan like this $75 w/out any special requests like paint correction or anything. Smaller vehicles and just an exterior are awesome because you can burn right through it, and you don’t even need the step ladder ha.
Literally, the grossest vehicle I’ve ever seen! You did an awesome job! You made that car have an awesome transformation!

Keep your car’s exterior slightly unclean so thief don’t break your windows

@@nick109 couldn’t agree more. The next best option for the smells is to run an ozone generator. I usually have tight turnaround times, but that works wonders if you have something destroyed.
