was a pleasure being there with the Dirty Three, They backed up Nick Cave in Hammersmith, was many years ago, and just seen Warren and Nick Cave live last night.. beautiful both are.
I first heard of Dirty Three in 2011, i've loved them ever since

The best thing of the dirty three, no singer, no lyrics! Their instruments are the voice that expresses mood, tension, wishful desire, confusion, love!

Storied night for me and 2 friends 25 years ago seeing Dirty Three in Boston. The three of us, the three of them, and some cockroaches. Oh, and soundman. Warren's voice is taking me right back. It was a perfect beautiful storm.
Jim White on Horse Stories is the best drumming I've ever heard

Jim White is one of the worlds best drummers. Horse Stories is a great example of his talent.

One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to
"this is our live set album".. no wonder i sat in the pub next door to where they were playing thinking i was listening to a cd in the pub.. 5 songs till the penny dropped... i've been telling people for 20+ they are so amazing live it sounded absolutely identical to the album:)

I had never really heard the story of Dirty Three in that way. Warren being such a part of my experience as a listener with Nick Cave. This is a very valuable video for me. Thanks.
