@@danflak6363 Why not? For a small room you don't want a huge amp. And for recording you barely need an amp. In this setting they are showing I can definitely see them using an amp like that if the sound is right for what they are trying to achieve.

Plus they’re in a studio, so they can stick all of the gear in a treated room and crank the amps up as much as they please to get a great sound. I agree that you can do wonders with “small” or no hardware these days... but come on man xD. Plus in the same shot they have what looks like a signal conversation box mic’d up too lmao.

Henrik's bass solo is pure gold again. Every time you think you're following something strangely and positively out of place comes out.

I've been a drummer for 50 years, that dude is fucking AWESOME. This group is FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love that smug smile that seems to stay on Henrik's face every time you see him. I know that it's because he is thinking, " Boy we've got these humans believing that we are actually from this planet, when we really are not. LOL ."

I was going to reply that it's a coincidence. There are some significant differences -- primarily a lot of extra passing notes, and a swung tempo instead of straight. But then I looked it up, and they're in the same key. Is Jonah a Sonic 2 fan? He would have been a young kid when it came out.

Not sure who you are talking to, but they (the bassists we have adressed) all have their place and can all play great and work in the bands they are in. I really like this song by the way and Henrik's bass work is great. I actually like it more than myung because you can hear it as opposed to dream theater where it gets buried under a lot of other layers. Now thet your comment brought me back here I'm going to listen to more of their stuff now. For me at least it was all in good fun, I like a lot of different music and have about 18,000 songs saved in my library (90% are full albums). I'm not attacking you just explaining myself and my view. Have a good one ✌. Another great band for a bassist that stands out is Seventh Wonder.

This song shows what a BEAST of a Band this is. I've watched a lot of match grip drummers, and they don't hold a candle to Aron's inventiveness. Hendrik is unbelievable on this tune, both in background and solo. Jonah's singing and simultaneous keyboard playing is outstanding as well. These guys keep getting more outstanding in their playing. Quincy Jones must be jumping up and down.

I'd never heard of Dirty Loops before up until a few days ago. Their music has been on repeat for the past few days. Drity Loops has done me Dirty...Can't get enough!

I was listening to this last night before going to bed. I was so hyped up by the groove, I couldn’t fall asleep. My head was still rocking back and forth while laying on my pillow. Musical talent is an understatement! Totally insane!!

Dirty loops makes me feel amazing. When i discovered them it was the best time of my life. Now 10 years later when i hear them, it brings back so many memories, it lifts me up. Thank you Dirty loops for making this music.

This is incredible! Reminds me the King of Pop - Michael Jackson, but... even better I guess :D. This is faster, more precise play style! Wow, wow, I am stoked.

That head bop at the end 4:00 is everything 😀 that feeling of dexterity when you know you gave it all!

I wondered why the singer sounds like MJ and Stevie Wonder, and the arrangements are so crisp and clear, and the execution is as close to perfection as humanly possible, so I watched the credits at the end of the video and...produced by...Quincy Jones...ah now everything makes sense.

Wrong Quincy Jones is not their producer but their manager. They make all arrangements by themselves and Simon Petrén mixes it.

The world's ultimate (and only?) fusion boyband strikes again with the most Dirty Loops sounding track yet. Hell yes that was awesome and I'm listening again immediately.

Was looking through some metal songs cuz I wanted something heavy (metalhead). Randomly came across this and it has taken my breath away. I went from playing heavy breakdowns on my guitar to now funking my head out to this bop. They're amazing

Dirty loops can get pretty heavy at times, just not with any guitars at all haha. They do have some rock sensibilities here and there, especially on the drums. Check out the ending jam of "Next To You". The drums are almost Pantera-like for a short bit lol. Either way, I can relate. I spent most of my teens getting into super heavy music of all types, including black metal, and then I discovered Dream Theater and Devin Townsend. Although I did grow up obsessed with the Beatles as well. When I heard Dirty Loops, my life changed forever. Ultimately, it's all super inspired intensely passionate music regardless of the style. If you haven't checked out Jacob Collier, I hope you do. No matter what you listen to, I think every human being should be aware that he exists at least.

The fullness of the production and mix at 3:20 the high vocal note and the horns going... is the best sounds my ears have heard in my entire life. I'm absolutely the biggest dirty loops fan, Even have a set list signed by all the guys from 7 years ago!! They keep getting better and better! Especially since it's technically "Aron's band". He's always done most of the song concepts and arrangement, but Jonah helps a LOT with the technical composition of said concepts. Henrik they just call up when they're done and tell him to "come do his thing on it" and they basically let him do whatever the hell he wants. Aron is one of the baddest dudes hitting skins anywhere on the planet right now.

Been listening to you guys for I'd say 10/11 years. I was studying vocals in Dublin, along with contemporary music, and one of my lecturers came in raging on about "This band I just found". Love your stuff!

This is so good, I haven't heard something like this since the glory days of Mezzoforte. The people comparing your vocals to Michael Jacskon are not wrong . But you have taken this vocal style to a new levell. This is so funky I need to give funk a new defenition.

There's a reason for that, but holy shit this solo converted me to wanting to take the bass solo (once I have half that skill in phrasing)
