My personal best is 08:45.845. I started playing the hillclimb gravel yesterday (21st september). Yeah I know that was uploaded in 2016 and I'm bad but I'm proud of my time.

How did you dial out the midcorner understeer without making the car unstable and tail happy? I'm getting closer to a consistent setup, but sometimes the thing just wants to plow. Doesn't help that I'm using the clutch pedal as a hand brake because Logitech and ps4 are stupid and don't offer an option for an external hand brake. So I have to let off the brake and smash the clutch/hand brake which means the nose comes up right as I'm turning in.

The default setup of this car on gravel feels bad but is actually very fast. The only thing that needs changing is the gear ratios (way too short). When you refer to it wanting to 'plow', I'm assuming you're talking about hairpins because you mentioned the handbrake. My advice is to brake early enough to allow yourself time to flick the car with the handbrake. A entry speed too high (braking understeer) or too low (not enough momentum to flick the rear) is almost certainly the problem.

My best is 8:52.something in a Audi S1... damn so much time too gain there :D

Same here, engine just stalls even in first gear. I mean full throttle in first gear with 400+ hp, the wheels should spin! not stall

Even allowing plenty of space for possibility that this was one of those slightly fluke runs that he decided to upload, this guy's skill are intimidating. I thought i was getting the hang of the game until i saw this. lol

I think there's something wrong the physics in this game... You did better than Loeb on the asphalt. Vatanen's record with the 405 PP was 10:47!

leaderboard proof of this time? I'm faster, a lot, if you look at gear and revs on this clip. but my time 8:23 and can't go faster without proper setup..

When the new physics came out, they left the leaderboards for a couple days then reset them. This video was a WR at the time but it's since been beaten by lots of people. Current WR is like 8mins flat. I think i still have the fastest time on youtube :p

definitely is a WR, but there is no evidence showing this specified time... :P
