I still remember in the first DiRT Rally when I bought a Lancia Stratos. It took a good time to get the control of that car, it's one of the most difficult cars to drive in DiRT Rally 1 if you don't adjust the car to understeer, I supose it's the same for 2.0.

How do you keep the car from spinning out? Whatever setup i use (enen if i set it on total understeer) this car spins out all the time in fast turns, and countersteer does nothing.

I just noticed that the in game driver has his thumbs on the inner parts of the wheel at smoother sections of the track. He then placed them on the rim on rougher terrain so when the steering wheel snaps back he doesn't break them.

Can you show your car setup before the race next time?

Ive a question, I want a rally game but dirt rally 2.0 is too much money for me XD So, I started discarding and I stayed with these two: Dirt Rally (1) and Seb Loëb Rally Evo which one do you recommend? (PS4 so RBR its not an option)

I don't know about the second one but I know about the first. The first is horribly unrealistic is quite hard and has great stages. Not much content though. Basically a glorified tech demo.

Hey viperconcept! i know german is a hard language, but you have to know at least one german word: LADEDRUCK! :D Oldschool Rallycars are the best! Stay Hardcore!

Rally schools teach you, that you only need to use heel & toe on grippy surfaces. Such as Tarmac and maybe very light gravel. In deep gravel, snow and sand it is better not to do the heel & toe technique, because you want the wheels to lock, so they dig into the deep loose surface and slow you down quicker. Using heel & toe is best suited for hard surfaces like tarmac, asphalt, pavement etc. Heel & toe is always good for getting into the correct rev range on corner exit though. I prefer locking the rear wheels on a rear wheel drive car, when I down shift quickly on a tight hairpin. It's almost like pulling the hand brake. This should work for off road simulation racing games too. If it's realistic ;)

Oh god this looks a lot faster than the first game

In real life the T16 is supposed too be the easiest (nothing in group b is easy so yeah) car too drive. I drove this in thing with a controller. Understeer then oversteer on throttle, turbo lag and just overall craziness. Lived but was slow.
