???do the stock cars in Free Roam have upgrades and are all the cars available in free roam?? I hope not haha I hope there’s more I’m just now getting good enough to finish tracks in decent times but only with the lancer 4WD and group B but only bc of your videos did I get that far I still need to learn how to tune so that I can actually drive a RWD faster than 50 Mph. I’m ok with FWD but only with the lowest HP. So I’m really hoping there’s upgrades to the suspension and other attributes that help with stability haha. I wanna go fast like I see others on KZread mostly with the wheels but I’m borrowing a PlayStation controller to figure out if I wanna buy that or the Xbox controller and I’m leaning towards the Xbox or something similar and honestly I’m about the same using the keyboard but that’s bc I’ve been playing racing games all my life with nothing but the arrow keys. Hey your vids are the best there are out there for this game. You explain everything very well. Don’t have to rewind all the time to understand what you mean.

Manic_Driver Game changer for me man. If you can find a way to get the $400 for VR- well worth it. I talk a lot to Jon Armstrong and he agrees with me, it can improve your times. Apex is easier- the 3D really helps. Save up bro! Lol

You do get more by getting into higher teirs, but really it's just for bragging rights. I suggested doing one or two stages, as that at least puts you above the 50% who just cut and run - you get a little bit more money that way with minimal effort

I’ve done three races and have gotten no money, can anyone help? Just got the game

i got sum questions. i finished over 11 races without hitting play. just once, first championship or idk, 11 races one by one, without getting any money, and also i dont have that "tune" button, not in a lancia, not in the career mode. i get in only when i try a car. i bought the game so basically it cant be my problem

It should give you money after finishing one location? If not, when you finish the championship you should get money. The tuning option is not available until you buy the upgrade in the car upgrade menu. Good luck!

So I got this game for Christmas, Game of the Year edition... And I started playing it but I don't have much time right now to do all challenges... So I've been logging in every day and... I noticed with Daily challenges that I get Rewards even if I retire from event right after joining it, didn't even do one stage. Does this work on Weekly and Monthly challenges as well??? This way even though I can't play much right now, I can still build up credits, at least that's my theory lol, will this work?

As far as I know, you get credits just for participating, so yes, it's an excellent way to build your bankroll

Mate how do i get other countries in career mode? I finished 2nd in the championship the first time. There are only 6 countries: USA Argentina New Zealand Australia Spain Poland. How do I unlock others? Cars, I suppose you buy and you can use them in the championship. Thx

The ones you are looking for are dlc so you will have to buy them, unfortunately.

Now a question I have is are some cars only fit for some terrain? I bought a Ford Escort Mk II and it's doing worse on tracks than my Lancia

There are indeed big technological differences from the historical cars to the more modern cars, everything from suspension geometry options to damper quality. The drivetrain matters a lot too, the Ford is RWD and the Lancia Fulvia is FWD - they drive fundamentally differently. Each car is capable of driving every stage, but yes, terrain will make certain cars easier or harder

Servers might need time to update, they are rather slow and prone to weird bugs like this

Do I really need all those engineers? I upgraded the first two to the max. What difference will the others make?

Honestly, not much. At a certain point if you are halfway decent keeping the car in good shape between service stops, you'll be able to make all the repairs you need to with plenty to spare. And usually if your car is so busted you need six engineers to fix it, your event run is pretty much shot at that point anyway. Save the money and buy/upgrade as many cars as you can

Are you buying new cars? You should be able to choose any car you want at the start of any championship.

@@manic_driver8751 I bought one other car, for focus modern day. I don't think i can change the car lol. It just says continue after a new championship. But ill check next time. I just started a new one with 10 stages each lol in the lancia.

Well, I was very excited about this game but in the last 4 days since I got it for Christmas, the servers are now down for the 3rd time, and you can't even play single player without connecting to the servers. I only paid $12.85 for DiRT Rally 2.0 GOTY edition so this is not about money, but the principle of the matter.

My championship never ends ! After 4 hours I earned some credits and bought new cars. There is no way to use these cars in existing championship? I had to abandon it. Am I doing something wrong ?

This is indeed the case - you can only start one career rally championship with one car - if you want to change cars, you have to abandon the championship. In DR1 you could switch cars between events, but this is sadly missing in DR2.0.

Make sure you have a spare tire under the tires menu. If you get a flat tire, stop your car completely. An icon will pop up showing you which button to press in order to change your tire.
