HOW TO MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it👌🏻😁.
****************************************************
STEEL FOR MY FRIEND
I keep all my steel and cast iron pieces and I give them to my friend and once he gets about a tonne from me and his own collecting he takes that to the scrapyard and sells it then he buys some beer and comes over to my house and we make a night of it.
No My friend doesn’t have a KZread channel he just scraps metal in his spare time.

    My friends don’t forget to hit the 🔔 to be notified as I get an awful lot of comments and emails saying people are not getting notified On my weekly video releases🤨. This last week has absolutely flown by and hopefully everyone is still happy, healthy and staying safe😷. So Sit back and tune out of life for a few minutes and tune into this weeks video, I hope you enjoy it but if not you know the drill👎🏻😞. Also if you want to try a bit of melting at home yourself be sure to do your research and be very very careful and if you decide to purchase a devil Forge or furnace let me know on my email in the description and I’ll organise a link to 5% off the total furnace price and as usual if you want to check out the website I get the rings from that I wear you can get 20% off of the already reduced prices by using my code in the description🤗. I’m gonna look at doing another giveaway soon where I will send the multiple winners something I make and that will be open for everybody all over the world so you don’t miss a video as I may be making mention of the giveaway and its rules but most importantly Have a great weekend and see you Beautiful people soon😁

    We are very careful when we pick things up. Basically anything with handles or indents that you pick things up by you kick over first because there’s always redback spiders in the handle holes etc. I guess you just get used to it. I can’t move anything in my yard without a spider crawling out and I live in the city, not rural.

  • @bigstackD

    @bigstackD

    Matey when you’ve lived here your whole life you will definitely get used to it as you really have no choice, I can clean out my garage and it looks picture perfect and everything is clean and then I can come back in 24 hours later and there is a redback web sitting in my shoe or on the corner of the door ! In my whole life in Australia I have never found a red back inside my house they only ever hang around in your garage in your shed and anywhere outside they never ever come inside. But that’s when it gets fun because the white tip spiders come inside especially when it starts to heat up and those things can be huge and if you’ve ever looked at an infected white tip spider bite you will see why they’re not something to play with.

  • @giggidygiggidy4884

    bigstackD Casting ah the white tips! Those buggers are all through the bloody house! I’ve seen a few bites but luckily never had one, they look painful. I agree about the redbacks though, I’ve never seen one inside but all over the place outside and never seen one be aggressive. They’re pretty mellow.

    You could build one from fairly cheap stuff. Plenty of plans/ideas out there. Even TKOR early version is reasonably cheap to build. It doesn't last a terribly long time. We got about 10-20 fires. But it's a great way to start. I would save up for a crucible and build tools first though. Learned fast that a commercial crucible is a good investment.

    Only two Aussie spiders are deadly to humans. The Sydney Funnel Web spider and the glorious Red Back spider which is very similar to an American Black Widow spider. There are lots of them that will give you a very nasty infected wound though.

    Venomous, yea a few things are that here in Aus. Don't play with the 'baby' octopus with the pretty blue circles.

    Some people collect beer cans, barbwire and other weird stuff. You like to melt various metals down to turn into ingots and coins. As far as a collecting hobby goes, I love the crafting and exploring required to support this interest. That shelf where the booty is stored is glorious!
