Just wanted fo say that I love the vids. I've watched a few so far and im learning a lot more about bikes now that I'm getting back into it after a few years. I just got my dads 1983 Husky WR250 running for the first time in like 20 years but then the carburetor drain plug disappeared lol. so now I gotta wait longer to either find it or order a new one. Again. Love the vids. Cant wait to see the finished bike.

I raced Huskvarna way back in the late 70s. I started on a Honda XR 75 then moved up to Husky 125cc then to the 250cc. I miss the sport so much.

It's looking great....from my own experience with a rebuild....I suggest that you use Loctite on a lot more or the nuts and bolts. Even some of the small ones that have torque specs.. Somehow those buggers manage to get loose. Love the channel and the builds.

A little trick I learned years ago is to sand or file a bevel on the bottom edge of your brake pads before installing and it makes wheel installation easier as your lining up the rotor to go in between the pads in the caliper that bike is going to look and be much better than when it was new nice job.

Its always good to see these rebuilds....Seems like you two are spec-ing out and building this Husky to better than new, its going to be amazing. Looks I have to take a pass, that's just not something I care about in dirt bikes. I just got in from a full day on the trails with 6 buds and all out bikes look the same.... like someone puked on them. ;)

Oh nice job and blue is awesome good looking colour! My brother had that on a factory Husqvarna CR 125-85 I like blue so good choice 👌 a bit of art. And whit yellow cam cover awesome Husqvarna comes from my country 🇸🇪 so it match up well. Love it done...... Best regards from Sweden/ Bjorn

@@dirtniron So you like Husaberg ? They started out crappy broke down often in beginning! See Joel Smets how he struggled in beginning. I was works rider for Husqvarna from 1980-83 why I left to Honda. Was simple they did not make a good enough 500cc bike then. So i got take over Graham Noice bikes as he ride them for 4 race. Awesome time and Honda those days was way ahead. Love see this bike be completely done and do a test run and upload it be awesome 👌 Bjorn from Sweden 🇸🇪

Bike looks awesome, if there is one thing I've learned in 40 years riding dirtbikes, BLUE LOCTIGHT on ALL nuts n bolts, I also do a lite flim of grease on motor mount long bolts to prevent corrosion. Now that bearing installation tool... Wow what a slick tool. Where can I buy one?

My Husky has the same color plastics as your baby blue frame. Love the build but think black hubs would have looked better!

@@dirtniron I mean all the other bolt like chain guid bolts, radiator bolts to frame, all those little buggers that rattle loose and fall off, I only seen u do one bolt / nut .

Sky Blue. There is actually an electric blue. It's a darkish metallic blue. Nice colour also. Edit: The homage back to the names roots with those colours was a nice touch too.
