Simple, pure , godly , peaceful , beautiful. The bride looked pure in her wedding dress. The groom looked handsome. I noticed there were no exchanging of rings . I guess that's the way they do things . The bridesmaid's looked beautiful and the groomsmen looked handsome. Everyone looked so nice . I loved the singing, as it made me feel so peaceful. Mennonites don’t wear jewelry

Who said we need all the trappings, bling and fanfare of Hollywood and otherwise to have a beautiful wedding. This here is pure, genuine and Godly. So simple yet beautiful. Brought tears to my eyes. When heaven looked down I'm sure there was much rejoicing on this union. I'm from the fuss and fancy culture but I absolutely loved this. KZread is made up of millions of videos and a person is free to watch whichever one they want at any time. They just pop up on a rotating basis. My personal thought is that you chose to watch a Christian marriage video because you are feeling drawn by the Holy Spirit and He is revealing to you how Marriage is SUPPOSED to be, when you and your mate are IN THE LORD. I pray that this video will open your heart to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and His total love for His creation. ❤️

Agreed! I think our Western weddings have veered away (putting it mildly) from the first churches. I've never seen anything describing those but since many of the first converts to Christianity were Jews, they may have followed that tradition where the groom pays a bride price to the bride to be's father, then asks the woman if she will be his wife (or words to that effect). The woman has the choice to drink the wine, signifying they are now engaged OR to decline the wine and they are not engaged. After both man and woman drink the wine of their covenant, it is a very serious matter. The groom goes home with his father and prepares a room (at minimum) for him and new wife to live in after marriage with his father overseeing the progress. The engaged bride begins making her wedding attire and accumulating her trousseau - those things she brings with her to the marriage. No one knows when the groom will claim his bride until his father sees that the addition to his house has been constructed properly then he tells his son to go get his bride. A wedding procession of the groom's friends run ahead saying, "The bridgroom cometh!" The bride has to be ready to go whenever her groom appears She comes out of her house, sees her groom for the first time since their betrothal, and is then taken by the groom to his home and, iirc, spend a bit of time in a private chamber before they join the wedding feast. (See any similarities to the rapture?)😉 The movie "Before the Wrath" is a wonderful movie that explains the above. It can be purchased for viewing at Prime Video - it may be free to members, not sure. I HIGHLY recommend it plus a movie by the same producers - "The Convergence." Pretty sure that one is now free.

I’ve been raised in Baptist, presbyterian and Bible Methodist. But I really don’t claim a denomination because I’m a child of God and I follow His word and don’t believe there is any denomination in Heaven. I’am a Christian.

Book of Revelation, 19:7-8 says "7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in *fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints."* There are many references in scripture to various people being clothed in white or specifically white linen, representing the righteousness that can only come from Lord Jesus. Also, if they are Mennonites, they practice living simply.
