I was just a kid living in New York who was basically just a default Knicks fan growing up because their games would be on TV every other night. But once I first saw dirk play with the Mavs I became a die hard Mavericks fan solely because of Dirk. I fell in love with his game and the man he was off the court. I let out tears of happiness watching my favorite player and team win the championship in 2011 as it was the first time I saw my team win. But most importantly Dirk inspired me to play the game of basketball and become a good varsity high school player and I would never love a player as much as Dirk for the rest of my life. He truly meant a lot to me and I wish I could see him hit his one legged fade away off the wrong foot just one more time. You deserve it legend.

Without those shots, there's no miraculous comeback and you're down 0-3 after losing the next game at home. Those shots led to Drik getting a ring and a Finals MVP.
