❤❤❤it took me months to notice him crying , I had been watching but never too closely until I finally was sitting and solely watching it not having it on in the background . I remeber stopping and rewatched it and instantly started crying and it was so heartbreaking like again after months of listening to it. Ugh. My heart. I'm glad you mentioned it

Yes and Sexual Healing by Marvin Gaye! They did an amazing job on that too! I don't even like the original, but I love how they did it!

Ren, The Big Push and Chinchilla all broke away from their same management team at the same time. It was apparently a very ugly drawn out affair that lasted about a year or so. On her IG, Chinchilla sometimes discussed how depressing, painful and destructive it was. They have both touched on it some in interviews. Once they were free, they were feeling lost without a support system to navigate going forward with their careers. Going through all of that, they leaned on each other, cementing their relationship. (Ren is 34, Chinchilla is 27.)

Ren and Chinchilla recently recorded two new songs together in the studio. I don't know about videos, but we should hear the songs soon.

********* NEW SUB ********** While I absolutely LOVE their collaborations, Chinchilla is a musical powerhouse in her own right. Her costumes are wildly theatrical. She's diverse and honestly reflective. Not to mention the strength and range of her vocals, which are truly next level. Popular Chinchilla songs: "Fingers (live)" ... truly mind-blowing "Cold Water" ... vocally rich/beautiful "Little Girl Gone" ... bold/defiant NOTE: There are two versions of "Little Girl Gone" --- Requiem (slower/deliberate) and the Official Music Video (fast/sassy). Would really, REALLY love to see your reaction to one/all of these videos. 😊

The song is called "How to Be Me," as though Ren's gonna instruct you how to be him; how he ticks. But then you get the gut punch that it's not that at all; he's describing that he's lost himself. All I can say is that we're so lucky we didn't lose Ren. We could have lost him at any number of moments, but he did pull himself through, in the end. ... and Chalk Outlines is my fave, too.

For your live stream folks going on and on and on about Chinchillas nails...🙄. They are costume nails and are put on when she performs. Otherwise in everyday life they are off. That is sad when that was all some could talk about and didn't careless about the song...props to you people.😒

This song is written in the perspective of his late friend, Joe, who was lost to suicide when they were young. "For Joe" by Ren adds more to this story, as does his song "Suicide."

They have done 2 more collaborations that have not been released yet. .....soon

Ren sings from his soul... and life experience. Which resinates with so many people. Both Rens and Chinchillas versions when Live, surpass all studio stuff.

These two have such a great synergy together. Each one powerhouses on their own and just something magical when they come together. Wow just always wow with these two.

They have a bro and sister vibe in the quality of their voices that blend so well. They use to do some busking on the streets in Brighton. In fact they have a video up on Ren's older music.

An artist is just that when he ( she) resonate perfectly whith her(him) self , but when the other self is involved things become interesting and the true artist within is revealed- " Not now Jeffrey , not now " best simple description...

the eye contact they have is amazing. i hard to look right into someones eyes and hold the look

I LOVE Fingers! She's amazing.

There is a horror movie called "Book of Blood" I swear they must have watched before writing this song. One character can talk to the dead. Another has to escape a house where the owners remove all five senses of people, then put them in the walls and floors, keeping them alive with IV drips. The only thing you can hear is their breathing through the walls.

You have to watch murderer, live, acoustic version, and Genesis regular version in the live acoustic version. I think that those are his two best songs he’s got a lot of them castles made of sand is a banger too. But murderer and Genisis Live for sure and The Fred Again mashup where he takes five EDM songs and makes them into one acoustic song?! Amazing! One last thing I know you’re a big fan of chalk outlines, as am I, but there’s an artist that does a cover of it, his name is Azuriha. He also has a song called four moods that is of the charts trust me. You’ll thank me later. Also if you like this take a trip down memory lane and watch old red well I mean young Ren and bibi which was his girlfriend at the time. Song is called crutch and it is right up your alley for your channel. Lot of people don’t know this song. It’s probably seven years old. The video is amazing and the lyrics are some of his most emotional. Her voice is amazing as well.

to those that were paying attention to chat, or were present at the stream, you should know that queerios was mistaken. this was not filmed on that bridge, they're on a rooftop. also, i really enjoyed shiv's idea that the baptism symbolized washing over him. i disagree with it, but i do appreciate the clever correlation. Rather, i think his line from another song gives us a clue. "fear of the unknown preserves a religion'.

If you think this was emotional, you simply must react to "For Joe". Ren wrote it for his friend, Joe, who took his own life. The story is that Joe had called one of their friends in the middle of the night, stating that he was going to jump. That friend called Ren since he lived the closest to the bridge. Sadly, Ren arrived too late. The song is an emotional masterpiece as Ren fights to hold back breaking down as he sings about Joe. This is one of his most beautiful songs, as he makes you feel his pain deep within your soul. Make sure you have some Kleenex on hand, because this one will have you in tears.💙
