Listening to Michael Sarnoski is so refreshing, he was a great surprised since he did Pig, and I'm so glad he completely nailed his first studio movie, unlike some unfortunate directors that get a shot after a great small movie and turns out very badly. Great job guys!

Saw quiet place opening day as well in the IMAX near me. Was fun but I feel like if you watch 1 of those movies you've kinda seen them all. Have tickets for Long Legs on Thursday night. Can't wait.

amazing interview boys. I really loved Day One, it's an amazing film. The framing and composition of the water fountain scene was so beautiful. The cinematography, editing, sound design is breathtaking. The performance from Lupita and Joseph is just 🤌.

I saw Day One in Imax. Really good flick, emotional. It doesn't necessarily add anything new to the franchise, but Lupita is always amazing, Joseph was great, and Frodo stole the show. Some seqeunces had tremendous sound design. I wasn't a fan of Pig, but Michael did a good job in this.

I agree with Kevin. The scene with Eric in the club with the cards was absolutely masterful, the performances, the shots and the score were beautiful. (Spoiler warning) I absolutely loved Michael’s and the team’s choice to show the creature in the end but for just a glimpse because at that point obviously she removed the earphones but I think it would’ve been too quick for it to cut to black so it was perfect to have the creature pop up for just a second. A really great film. Congrats to everyone involved!

Regarding “The Bear” season 3, spoiler free: one of the episodes mentions “never reusing the same ingredients” and “keeping every dish new, every day”. When you look at season 3 as a whole - that’s exactly what they did. Every episode is different, they don’t use the same style of storytelling audio or visually. Each episode is a unique style, centered around a different set of characters.

100% agree with the BHC review Sean. The scene with the three of them in the car shown in the teaser trailer isn't even in the movie. It's a different scene at the end, and that's pretty much all you get with them together. Disappointing unfortunately.

Awesome interview....Any Ti West/MaXXXine content planned?...Really loved this X/Pearl/MaXXXine trilogy and think Ti West and Mia Goth have produced some incredible work across these 3 movies.

Episode 6 of The Boys REALLY had a jaw dropping milk scene. So ridiculous, Mr Starr almost breaks character in the cut they use. That's all I'll say.
