So informative. I am a 4h house Cancer Sun. Always felt a pressure, for a variety of reasons, to do something big out there, but in my 30s now I realize I was not being myself. I am rather a venusian person and find meaning in the personal, doméstic áreas of life. I care about the intimate relationships: if they’re good, I’m good. Also Júpiter in the 3rd 3 degrees apart from the 4th: I find joy within the personal and private! Sorry for the biopic , I’m just very glad to make sense of a few things . I don’t want to be “successful “ in the public, glorious sense of the term, not in this lifetime. I have to stop chasing things that other people find desirable.

Love the video and thank you 🙏🏻. Do you think the joys of the planets in houses have significance in the Hellenistic traditions as the directions you’re indicating are similar ? In Hellenistic Astrology sun has its joy in 9th house, moon 3rd, Mercury 1st, Venus 5th, Mars 6th, Jupiter 11th and Saturn 12th. And yes as you say the brightness of a planet is overlooked in modern astrology. Another interesting thing about Venus being in its house of joy in the 5th house but not the 7th. People often think that Venus is associated with a partner or lover. Yes it is but only from the viewpoint that a majority of people get most pleasure from having a partner in their life, but some people have no interest in a partner . Venus in its house of joy is in a place of all pleasure including hobbies, music, sex, romance, children, play, theatre , arts etc. what is significant here is that not all relationships are pleasurable but romance itself is. 5th house, house of good fortune.

You are right my Rising is Capricorn 19 degrees MC Sun Mercury in Scorpio 10 th house Venus and Saturn in Scorpio Neptune in Libra 9th house. Mars in Libra 8th house Moon in Taurus 23 degrees 4th house. Jupiter in Gemini 5th house Pisces in the second house and all my planets has progressed in Aquarius all my planets start at the 4th house and go up Pluto in Leo Uranus in Cancer 7th house.

I have sun in aries and venus in aries so that burns my relationships? What would be a good balance or support, the element of water and the moon?

I have both Mars and Jupiter in the 6th house, both Pisces, what that means then? Thanks 🙏

Great video 😊 Lada, in whole sign astrology my sun is in the 10th house as well as 5 other planets. But in placidus, the planets move to my 9th house. Which system do you follow and find correlates to you more? My moon is in 4th in whole, and 3rd in placidus. I usually read both interpretations because idk which one is more accurate.

So ideal chart would be Sun + Mars in 10th, Venus + Moon in 4th, Mercury and Jupiter in 1st. Saturn in 7th? Any examples of that chart in real life? 🙋

It wouldn't be able to have that exactly since Venus and Mercury can only be so far away from the Sun, so basically one would possibly end up being the stronger planet directionally, while the other one loses strength directionally based off of this aspect of figuring out how strong a planet is as far as personal planets go. The others aren't bound to the Sun's position, so one could technically have multiple strong planets when considering that.

What if Mercury and Jupiter are in the second and third house but they conjunct Sun there? Does the Sun "burn" them?

Lada, as per Vedic, Moon is natural karaka of 4th house and having Moon in 4th can give you too much of emotional overwhelm and instability. Same is said for Venus in 7th. Your thoughts?

I sympathize. I do! I have a similar placement. Sun & Saturn in Leo. Saturn Conjunct the IC Maybe some of your other placements provide some gifts? I have Jupiter in Gemini but at least it’s in the 1st conjunct the ASC and directly opposite the GC. I have all of the other placements in placements that are not the best. We can take comfort in knowing our souls are seeking and restoring balance

According Indian astrology Planets are strongest when they in their own houses or in houses of exaltation. I have Saturn in Leo in 10th house.
