Few minutes of silence and crowd noise rose more emotions than a wedding, two kids and mental breakdown together
Den här låten är en klassiker som aldrig kommer att gå ur tiden

Imagine, everyone in this audience, throughout the whole world tour, each person probably spent 12.99 on an album. Not forgetting the earlier career as well, all that revenue has now gone thanks to the mp3 effectively. Streaming as well. Also every other act doing the same. All gone because you can send a song to someone in an email. What we lack now is any kind of barrier or gate keeper so to speak. You had to be good enough in the old days to access this world, so you practiced and practiced and went through hell to try and become good enough.

Thinking of my 4 favourite bands, Marillion, Queen, Pink Floyd and The Beatles. They played their instruments, sang their songs and write/wrote their own material (and in some cases songs for other people too)

Did you catch him on his tour this past year? He may not be as fast as he used to Be, but trust me his skill and dynamic guitar playing are still with him.

@@kmcel190 Nah, I missed him. It's great that he's still touring, but I wish he would pull the trigger and do one more round with the boys. If he's worried about it getting to be too big, he sadly doesn't have to worry about that. I love Dire Straits but they slipped out of relevancy years ago.

@@lejdcool1 Brothers in Arms is still selling a lot of copies, so much so that BIA vinyls cannot be made fast enough to supply demand (have spoken to record store owners about this) I don't believe you when you say DS have slipped out of relevance. All that has happened is they don't make music anymore, and haven't done so for a long time. Knopfler is doing fine writing and recording. I don't think much else makes him happier.
They where watching the best concert of their lives! F*cking AMAZING!
The King of guitar : Mark Knopfler. Just the KING ! Adel Houdrouge.
Dire Straits brothers in arms One of the best albums ever
I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. ♫♫♥ ♥ ♥♫♪
I'd do anything to be able to go to this concert

This guy actually has good music and this is one of my favorite 90's classic rock song! Man it just wants me to dance to the beat. And I wish I could play he's type of music man there so good. Nothing beats the classic soundtracks of all times.🙂✌

2020 e eu aqui, um jovem feliz a ouvir esta obra de arte enquanto muitos jovens só ouvem lixo musical... Os Shows deles conseguem ser superiores às músicas gravadas em estúdio... Dire Straits é maravilhoso!!

Kenneth Mc he stopped using it around 2000 after Sailing To Philadelphia was released. He began to use his 1958 Les Paul on Money For Nothing in ‘96 and then around 2002 using his signature Fender Stratocaster on Sultans. Before that, he played the Pensa a lot, but began to prefer thicker neck sizes, which the Pensa didn’t have.

Chris Whitten is my hero
SL2
An early shot across the bow in culture war. Knopfler claimed he was only writing about what he had overheard from some delivery guys but that also protected him from any criticism as he was claiming to be making fun of the delivery guys - but the song was not interpreted that way during that glorious summer in my corner of the world. My mullet head friends loved it. Great lyrics, great skill, great song.
isso sim e rock puro
Great concert. Chris Whitten is one of my fav drummers, a so great solo in the end of the song. 🥁 I think Mark Knopfler had a great team these two years the tour was going. A nice farewell before he went solo. 😁 Just a little pity that the picture and audio isn't in sync. 🤔 Thanks for the upload, soon 10 years ago here on KZread. 😍😎🤗

Matteo Prezioso Their relationships and health were on the line and seeing how it was treating them, they need to put it rest. Mark’s marriage was gone as well after the tour. Think of over exerting yourself, you need to stop soon or take a break, that’s what they did.
