Now that the game is no longer for sale - and we have jointly exercised our consumers' rights - we would like to leave you with one very important thought: Sometime in the future, you may have the opportunity to serve as a juror in a piracy case, or a so called "intellectual property infringement" case. It would be wise to remember the same people who would stop you from playing Super Mario 64 may be back next Direct to DMCA a skin, or even a romhack. If you can be told what you can download or change, then it follows that you can be told what to purchase or backup. Defend your consumers' rights; no developer will do it for you. Thank you so much for playing my game.

The in-game version is breathtaking in it's own right but it's hard for me to surrender honestly to it as I associate the track with positive memories. Hearing this version, with the main melody of the track sounding like a Kid A/Boards of Canada underwater synth, I was brought to tears. In the video game medium, it's hard to separate the idiosyncrasies of the art from the fun that you're having when you immerse yourself in the virtual experience. However, if you step back and view this piece from an objective viewpoint, then you can start to dissect and consume it the way you would an album or film - what emotions does it evoke?. What kind of pain or feeling was the composer attempting to navigate when they wrote it? Where did they have to take themselves? An aquatic dreamland? A paradise where the sun is always setting? The embodiment of a fleeting happy memory - and the creeping feeling that things will never be the same again? Thank you for this thought provoking experience. Very well done.

This is amazing it’s making me nostalgic for a time in the 90’s, that i have never had because i wasn’t even here, but i just imagine sitting alone at night playing dire dire docks, and falling asleep to

Omg this is such a cool concept!! I had an idea a while ago of super metroid's brinstar jungle area theme done in the style of future sound of london's lifeforms album
this channel is the perfect overlap of "i have copious amounts of video game music on my playlists" and "i read pitchfork"
You've really mastered the boc style, the drums, the sample, the synths, congrats !
That sounds so Earthboundy💕
just stumbling nonstop onto winners of youtube videos today.

truly another on4wordposting moment, thanks!
I had no idea how much I needed this until I heard it. This is expertly done; the synth tones are really fitting and the drum patterns are intricate, yet subdued. Incredible work.
Ooh that is fantastic, we're getting the reverse concept of the previous videos know, I love it! Sounds so gorgeous with those lush synths. You're able to capture the vibes of both aspects so well!
I've never listened to Boards of Canada once in my life, but this is goated

You should, they are fantastic
This is kind of stuff EmpLemon should use for a soundtrack on the next documentary
Actually made me burst into tears
Oh shit we going in the opposite direction now huh
I had no idea before I clicked, but that was exactly what I needed. Thanks!
WHOA-WhOa-Whoa-whoa!
Finally I’ve found my youtube niche. Excellent work my friend
I have extremely fond memories of listening to a bootleg boc maxima compilation tape while my partner would pick me up from my house and we'd drive up to their place in manhattan beach together. This took me right back there. Thank you for such lovely work
Man, you really nailed the vibe. Especially in the second half with the percussion picking up and the nondescript samples, just divine.
So glad I looked up a Boards of Canada music video recently enough for the algorithm to bless me with this wonderful composition.
Dude this is SO BEAUTIFUL 😍 oh my God, wonderful work!
Love this. Reminds me that I need to listen to more BoC, I can never find the right moment, though.

you could try their A Few Old Tunes albums, they’re pretty cool and not as situational as their newer releases
Summer 5 am soundtrack

Dude how'd you even do this. You are amazing.
this is incredible, it genuinely sounds like something that boc would make themselves. thank you for this
this chilled me right out and creep'd me out in the way that BoC does, well done!

Incredible! Great idea to flip to concept this time around
