Beautiful. As an Aphex twin fan, I find this sound gorgeously relaxing and emotional. Maybe a popular opinion but it is probably my favorite song from selected Ambiant Work Vol 2.

Not a big afx fan, but Rhubarb is called Réwas in Kurdish and we eat it peeled with some salt after picking it up in the mountains during springtime. Pro tip: Softer ones are better/more sour while harder ones are dry, bitter, and gets stuck between your teeth. Its also a beautiful Kurdish feminine name.

@@malamstafakhoshnaw6992 Definitely a beautiful name. Kurdistan sounds like the place to be man! Rhubarb is great, my grandma used to have it in her garden. She made a compote (jam) out of it, by boiling it with loads of sugar, so delicious. Didn't know it was eaten raw with some salt, must try sometime! When i was a kid, i used to hang out with this Kurdish family alot, we always sneakily picked corn cobs from the field in our neighourhood, put it on forks and roast it over the stove with some salt.. great memories. Cheers for the throwback!

@@Rr-uf1ox Not much to tell. I graduated from university with a good degree, and moved back home to find a job. I missed all the friends I'd made at university. I regretted the things I hadn't taken the opportunity to do when I had the chance. In the end I channelled all that pain into art (writing). I grieved. Got a series of shitty jobs. Eventually found my footing on the world again. Made new friends, reconnected with old ones. I still regret what I never did when I had the time, but I'm trying to make time to do stuff with the time I have now. Isn't that the best any of us can do?

I saw this in my subscriptions earlier today/yesterday, but I didn't want to listen to it yet. I knew it would hit me like a sack of bricks, and of course it did. Your AT covers are remarkable. If you went back to 1994 and gave me this stuff on tape, I'd have played it to death just the same.

Beautiful cover. Makes me feel as emotional and nostalgic as the original does
