So I am new to doing this for myself and I did order from one of your other videos from your affiliate link but this is different and my question is after you pop those off where then do you start the process of putting a new dip on your nails… This is very intriguing!!!!

Hey, just some quick questions. How did you apply the clear? Is it just like you’d normally apply colored powders, all steps finish gel and all, or is there a special method. Also what are you working on and where did you get it? I love your videos! Keep up the great content!

I used the method from your application video of this mani and used my UNT base. I kept my mani for 3 days before I decided to pop them off. The last time i used a pearl base, they popped off while I was filing them before the clear top coat. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I bought the unt peel base but often some of my nails would pop off in a few hours while others had to be physically removed. I hope this brand works better. Any tips to making peel base work? I sometimes get tired of a manicure in a few days and using peel base is easier than starting over.

You kind of have to experiment with it to find out what works best for you. I’ve found that it lasts longer if you apply the clear dip first and really make sure you cap the edges with the top coat!

I feel like they last longer if you do the dips of clear before you apply the peel base.

I honestly like it because I feel like it helps prevent early lifting. I can still pop them off whenever I want, but it gives me a little extra durability.

Hello. Do you use the pop off every time you do your nails? When is the pop off applied? Is that before you do all your nails with the base or is that the second step after all the base is applied to each nail?

Linda Senick you apply it before you dip. It would be the first step. Once it is completely dry, then you would begin dipping

I just realized that’s how it’s done after I posted this. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m going to give it a try. That company is still closed. I had to order from a different company. Fingers crossed it works good!

schnauzergal it really all depends. I’ve had them pop off hours after I finish. And others last until I’m ready. I’ve also just had one pop off here and there and I’ll glue it back on. But the most successful for me is applying the clear dip first and then they stay on until I am ready to pop them off (with minimal lifting)

How do you do the fill in? Mine came out some of the clear dip I used under.

You would have to file down the portion that has lifted and just apply more clear dip over it. It is really hard to get it perfect, so I stopped doing it this way.

I keep trying this peel base with three layers over clear dip... and I can’t get them to pop off!
