Dioscorea rupicola, A South African Yam
Dioscorea rupicola is a south African yam that is listed as being edible in Zulu ethnobotanical publications. Other than being wild harvested and boiled to remove toxins I have not found much information about preparations. The traditional name is: "iNkwa."
