my husband and I both appreciate orchids as many people think they are fragile when in reality, if they live in their natural environment, they are amazingly tough and resilient and some bloom rarely enough that there are celebrations of their appearance. Les Rhumbs la maison de Granville est superbe. La vue y est incroyable (quelques similitude avec celle de Victor Hugo à Guernesey) La roseraie de la maman de Christian Dior a été conservée et (je ne sais pas si c’est encore le cas) il y avait des plots avec les différents parfums Dior que l’on pouvait sentir et qui rappelaient les parfums des différentes fleurs présentes dans le jardin. C’est un endroit que je chérie, qui me rappelle mon enfance. J’ai adoré ce défilé. Le décor époustouflant, la collection sublime. Les couleurs pastels en camaïeu, les differentes matières sèches, les superpositions. Les accessoires oufissimes. J’ai adoré. Et les modèles plus beaux les uns que les autres (on voit d’ailleurs qu’ils charment le marché de l’est avec tous ces beaux et jeunes mannequins asiatiques. Très réussi, bravo Kim Jones. Merci Loïc !

What a beautiful mise-en-scène! I know Charleston and the Omega style well (Laura Ashley used to have the licence to use the motifs and designs for their dress and furnishing fabric). But Granville is still on my list to visit. Tailoring was splendid, but I love the hats, woolies and wellies, perfect for the English weather. Favourite flower: lavender.

Saw model GO Unghos behind the scenes vlog video on his YT channel about this Dior show & though it was gorgeous! So thank you for your capturing of such a refreshing yet nostalgic show! Loved your descriptions of outfits & model names! And wow personally appreciated the innovation in the shoe collection! Surprisingly I had to do a deep dive of the Artist Graham, Economist John Keynes & the Bloomsbury Group! So thank you for that nugget of history! Merci Loic! Until the next show!💪💪

Picasso Lilies are my favorite flower. They are elegant, smell beautiful, bright, colorful, simple and pure. My wife and I used them at our wedding, lining the aisle, on the altar, and she had the most gorgeous bouquet of them.
