Great song with 4 great artists. Dionne Warwick has had a huge career spanning almost 6 decades. She had so many hits. Burt Bacharach wrote most of her best songs. "Don't Make Me Over", "Make It Easy On Yourself", "Anyone Who Had A Heart", "Walk On By", "Do You Know The Way To San Jose?", "You're My World", "Message to Michael", "Alfie", "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself", "I Say A Little Prayer", "(Theme from) Valley Of The Dolls", "(There's) Always Something There To Remind Me", "This Girl's In Love With You", "I'll Never Fall In Love Again" etc.

She was noted for being a “one-take” artist. She intuitively knew how to interpret songs.

I still stay in contact with the musician friends I've played with over the years..We're all scattered through the State now, but if any of us need each other to rock a stage or a shoulder to lean on, we're there. We do a reunion show every year and don't even have to rehearse, because we're in a way, "family" and it makes us great together. The chemistry between the stars in this song shows they were very personally tight...The magic always comes out..Best friendship song ever and Thanks for picking this Sarah!

I loved hearing this again.. was it originally part of a huge fund raiser for AIDS awareness? So much love at such a horrific and devastatingly sad time in our history.

Gosh, I haven’t heard this song in decades, but the lyrics came back to me as I was singing along, just as they needed to come out of my mouth, lol. Beautiful song, beautiful quartet. ❤ You could keep this channel going for a long time if you just reacted to the hits from these four artists. They are all amazing.

The summer that my 2 girls and their friends found out they wouldn't be at the same school the next year everyone was upset. I hired my friend to do a karaoke party for ALL OF THEM. 5 of them decided they wanted to do this song. They started singing this song and one by one started to cry. So I had a clubhouse full of kids crying and the DJ had to finish the song for them. Glad to say they're still friends with them. ❤❤

As you see, this is really "Dionne Warwick and Friends", because it is composed of a quartet of artists-Dionne, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and Gladys Knight. This song was composed during the AIDS crisis of the mid-'80's-to raise money to fight it.
