A dinner date with Michelle where she gives you recommendations on what to order at a restaurant in Mexico.
At Dreaming Spanish, you will learn Spanish the way you learned your native language, namely, through immersion. Simply start watching content at a level that is comprehensible to you, and gradually work your way towards more and more advanced videos.
As researchers like Dr. Stephen Krashen have shown over the past 40+ years, receiving comprehensible input, that is, messages that you can understand in the target language, is what actually results in language acquisition.
By listening to our stories, cultural expositions, conversations and games, you will get used to real Spanish as it's used in context, and develop a native-like intuition for the grammar and the vocabulary, together with a clear pronunciation.
Experience the language. Become the language.

It’s not fair that in Spanish it’s just called English Sauce but in English we gotta struggle with Worcestershire

I have managed to say Worcestershire sauce correctly like once and then haven’t ever been able to get it again since 😂

@@seanthegod4585well given the fact that Spanish language is phonetic, I think Worcestershire is gonna be difficult to pronounce. I’m British and even I struggle with that word from time to time 😂😂😂 also the Spanish languages get to the point, which I like 🤷♀️ 😂
AWESOME you are now taking us on trips ! Great way to learn, and thank you !!

That was great! Learning in context like this is extremely helpful!
A date with Michelle? Yes please 😍😄
I just finished the Superbeginner playlist and started the Beginner playlist and have to say the beginner videos are much more interesting and way more fun so far plus I can understand most of what is been said so wasn’t too much of a jump up.
I really loved this video. Michelle does a great job speaking slowly and clearly. I loved the change of scenery and the practical Spanish I would use in a restaurant. I also love Mexico so it's fun that she takes us around with her.
This was great. Should be a series 👍🏻
La salsa inglesa es "Worcestershire Sauce" ! ¡Increible esta en México!
This is such a good way to teach, I love it!!
I appreciate the effort in making this one!
This was perfect, thank you!!!
The best dinner date I have had in a while, where are we going next
¡Mucho gracias!
This video was muy bien!! ❤❤
Gracias Michelle, me encanta tu video!
I enjoyed it, can’t see how the next one could top this.
Gracias
Great video!
Great video
Pizza looked good to me. The timing of this video is fun. We had two large pizzas from Dominoes for dinner in Guatemala last night and it was only $12. It wasn't as pretty as the Pizza Michelle had but it was good. Based on her star ratings, I'd give our pizza 3.75 stars. Great Video!
this is so cool, i like it
Michelle I love your videos ❤
I really like that R0DE lapel mic. It sounds perfect, even outdoors.
Buen trabajo Michele! Siempre grabas videos estupendos. 😊
perfecto
Bueno, me gusto
Good food makes me dance, too.
Zanahoria on a pizza? That's new. I'm not sure how I feel about that and I only make vegan pizzas, lol. But thanks for filming even though I imagine it would feel weird to do so out in public and with others. Fun to watch!
I did not know what was chilaquiles. I looked it up to learn that it is something local to Mexico. Do all the restaurants come with a survey at the end?
Where is this filmed?!
Michelle es muy bonita !
Did anyone else lose sound between 7:02 and 7:14? (I’m in Australia)

Michelle giving a negative review for the pineapple on pizza, yes!, She's now officially approved by Italians 👍

My advice: Watch the video once without stopping. Try discover the general meaning of new ideas with only context. Then, watch it again, and pause when you don't understand something. Go research the meaning of things. Then, watch one last time, and hopefully everything makes sense. Happy learning! If then, something doesn't make sense. Ask in the comments! Many of us are native speakers! :)

As suggested by others, I have found that watching videos twice or even three times helps a lot. A few new words go a long way.

I thought the same thing at first. It is intentional that they don't have the translations. It's part of the "Comprehensible Input" method of teaching. It's so different than any other method I've seen in the past.
