Research shows that the best way to learn a language is to have authentic experiences with it with Comprehensible Input.
Rather than boring grammar lessons, we provide free interesting listening experiences for learners of Spanish. By listening to our stories, culture explanations and games, you will get used to real Spanish as it's used in context, and develop a native-like intuition for the grammar and the vocabulary, together with a clear pronunciation. The videos try to be easy enough for a complete beginner to start picking up the language.
Comprehensible Input means that the videos try to use basic Spanish as much as possible and be easy enough for a complete beginner in the language to get the gist of the story and start picking up vocabulary. That way you'll get that i+1 necessary to make fast progress in the language.

Things I use to record my videos that I recommend:
- Overhead camera: amzn.to/2Cim95k

Damn Pablo you really lookin good in this video... Those glasses really make a difference.
It’s good to see Andrea on a beginner video, please do more videos at this level.
I was so caught up in the romantic story I almost forgot I was listening to Spanish. ¡Excelente!
Andrea, thanks for these little masterpieces of the script, production, and execution of Mexican Romeo and Juliette. Thanks for the great Spanish tutorial which is watched in one go. Pablo-Artist-Professor, you brought up an excellent teaching star and tocking actress. Thank you.

This story came before Juliette and Romeo.
Andrea is a masterful storyteller! So animated that words translated through symbols and action seem second nature! I'm sure this took a lot of practice and training to achieve this level, and the power in Andrea's stories for language learners shines!
Love it :-) . I hiked Iztaccíhuatl Spring of 2019 and could see Mt. Popo blowing off some steam in the distance. It's a fun, very scenic hike. Great to hear the story in Spanish at a pace I can understand.
This channel is evolving!
Great presentation! I love the way Andrea pronounces things and is expressive. I learned a lot about words that start with 'd' (you have to stick your tongue out) and that 'pero' is pronounced with a 'b' sound like 'bero'. I am still trying to say 'rey' like she does .... haha ... thanks Andrea!
Muy buena historia sobre los volcanes
Me gustan mucho los nombres, estan *originaux*
Perfect! Saludos desde India.
Thank you so much for your hard efforts 💜
Great to see Dreaming Spanish grow. Brilliant video Andrea!
Bravo muchacha... muy bien hecho!
I love love love this!! Mas y mas por favor
¡Gracias, Andrea!
I love her energy, enthusiasm, and explanation. I would be so happy to see more videos with her.
Ah, this one was so difficult for me but a lot of people on here seem to love it! Love Andrea though! Will try some others and come back to this one later!
Starts as a beginner video and moves to intermediate. She is a GREAT addition to dreaming Spanish. She needs to use pictures, gestures, and props more consistently to minimize gaps in acquisition. I look forward to viewing this video again when I get to the intermediate level.
Muchas gracias!
This is the first video I’ve seen with Andrea. It was great! I love to hear other accents and pronunciations from Latin America especially since I’m in the US and will rarely hear a Spanish accent. My goal for learning Spanish is to communicate with my friends and neighbors from Latin America so hearing accents from neighboring countries, especially Mexico is very valuable to me.
Great story, great storyteller.
I just hear of this 'Iztaccíhuatl y Popocatépt' story.
Lo Has hecho genial Andrea! Jajajajjaa
this is my 10th time watching it and its great every time!
Hello Andrea! Could you please make a story like this about the legend of Copihue? I really like your videos like this. It's a legend in Chile. "According to the legend, the copihue sprang from the tragic love story of a beautiful mapuche princess named Hue, and a brave pehuenche prince named Copih. Since they belonged to enemy tribes, their parents were against their relationship and the young lovers were murdered a lake in which they proclaimed their love." Or someone from Chile do this please. Thank you!
Thank you for this video! Excellent!
Mucias gracias :)
I was crying so hard. too hard for a stick figure carrying another stick figure. Goes to show what a great storyteller you are and...that I'm starting to understand Spanish really well!
Great presentation! Thank you! Liked it a lot!
Me gusta este video :) ¡Gracias y buen trabajo, Andrea!
Es mi maestra favorita. Muchísimas gracias.
i know this is such an easy story, but this is the first one I've listened to with such a range of tenses where i was able to understand everything the first time around without the visual cues - I'm proud of myself! Even the new vocabulary i was able to pick up with context clues
Estoy orgullosa de este canal. Y este historía es bonita.
I love this video. Very engaging content, and your expressive gestures tremendously help to learn new vocabulary.
Excelente.
Me encanta tus video! Gracias!
Me encanta la historia!
I like your videos a lot I use them to stay up longer at bedtime 🌙
Excelente video
Un buen video! Gracias 😊
More like this. I'm running out of beginner videos to watch. Stories are more engaging than a lot of the random content.
Is this your non union mexican equivalent Pablo? Great job Andrea!
This is good cuz I can barely read, so, I like lookin at pictures better
More beginner video from Andrea PLZ!!!!!
This is literally the story they used in the film "Bram Stoker's Dracula" (it was not a part of the novel) to explain why Dracula turned into a vampire (as opposed to a volcano).
👍
Has this video been taken down? I cant see it on the site? It would be good if we could search the site by name
Far better love story than twilight.

We recommend to listen a lot in the beginning, so we don't make transcripts.

Try saying those two names after a few jars of fine ale.😅😊

No comió comida... 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
