Dina Asher-Smith puts Gary Neville through his paces and shares all in full interview | The Overlap

Спорт

I'm delighted to share my latest interview with World Champion Dina Asher-Smith with you all.
Dina is one of our brightest hopes for the Toyko Olympic games, and it was a joy to speak to her. Dina shares all, from her upbringing, to Olympic preparations, to tackling racism. And we even go head to head on the track… before my hamstring gave way!
Make sure to watch to the end, to see a special present from David Beckham for Dina & her mum.
Let me know in the comments if you enjoyed this episode, and who do you want to see on next?
Brought to you exclusively by Sky Bet.

Footage of Carragher spitting on a little girl, why did that happen since he's attached to Sky? He's doing so well because he's a professional who uses his position to speak passionately about important issues in the world today, and he speaks a lot of sense. Gary Neville is a serious credit to his family, generation and industry. He was never the most naturally talented footballer, but his very hard work, commitment and passion ensured he played at the very highest levels of football and with elite and amazing distinction. He has applied exactly the same principles to his media career and as become the voice of so many with his view on Manchester United and most recently, trying to overcome Britains dirty habit of racism. He uses his voice and platform to help others. He is a truly wonderful person.

These are brilliant interviews. I know nothing about athletics, but what an amazing, inspirational, intelligent, extremely personable person Dian Asher-Smith is. Also....from what she says about her mother and father, what amazing parenting! Gary is developing into one hell of an interviewer, he lets his guest talk, asks good questions, is humble, and is very willing to laugh at himself. That relaxes the guests and makes the whole viewing experience warm, friendly, and very watchable.

This is Gary’s best interview so far, ever. It has a lightness and humility to it that makes the football ones seem so rigid. I couldn’t give a toss about track and field but when there’s great chemistry between the interviewer and an interviewee, it’s satisfying. She’s also extremely articulate to listen to, as opposed to a Wayne Rooney or Marcus Rashford interview where every second or third word is ‘umm’ or ‘ya’.

  • @kaziflows2936

How dare you 😤 Its almost as if they're hiding the behind the fact that ultimately we didn't win once again when we really could have. We didn't lose because of the missed penalties. Tnats the media hiding another tournament of shite by outlining a few yobs who think it's okay to be racist. With social media now especially the way it is- the racism will never completely go away. Gary Neville's hamstring going is a cruel warning for what was about to come for Dina😪 I think the story of her worst disappointment is about to change... Such an amazing athlete & person. She's doesn't deserve this badluck, but I know it'll drive her on to be one of our greatest Olympians in the future!
