Secondly, (you have to be able to read between the lines) its being spoken of as a boycott of businesses who don't show any concerns for racial justice that we should support black businesses instead. Marches and pleas can only do so much- there has to be some economic focus as well. Racism runs deep into the fabric of all our institutions in the US and from what I hear the UK as well. @Andy M British culture - generally refers to those who identify with an island in the north east Atlantic, off the coast of Europe. If you make it any more complicated than that the concept gets messy since there's been so much cultural mixing (ideas, customs, genetics etc) and always will be (because humans are largely defined by high sociability) over millennia. I think you might get mixed up with identity as well, but that's another complicated concept. But culture is essentially a collection of human identities that share some kind of similarity -like law and freedom of speech for example. So it's a very difficult question to answer Andy.

Brilliant interview, great questions but in a very relaxed conversation. AJ fairly open but as diplomatic and professional as ever. I'm a fan of both him and Fury, and they're totally different characters. AJ is a gent and a lovely guy. Fury is hilarious but playing a pantomime character half the time. I love what they have both done for UK Sport. They will fight eventually, when they do, let the best man win. Ok, I'll be supporting AJ I admit it, but I'll back Fury against anyone else.

I think what stands out to most of the people Gary interviews like this is that they can relate to him to some degree which means his interviews seem, seemless. He was an athlete himself and a professional most of all and played on the biggest stages in his career, so when he interviews people like AJ for instance and he asks certain questions they know Gary isnt asking because he is looking to unearth something the media might grab hold of and can twist, the questions come from a professional mutal background of understanding and feeling about what athletes from all sports go through.
