The best part in this song is 3:21- 4:24, Mustis, Shagrath and guitar solo part. I like Vortex more in other songs like Kings of the Carnival Creation.

Or just try not being an asshole. We're all here to appreciate some part of their music. Knowledge has nothing to do with appreciating something. Just because you're a super nerd and may or may not know more about the band than somebody else doesn't mean shit....Hellhammer is a better drummer anyways

@@Icyes21 although i would agree, i think they're actually a lot closer than what would generally be thought.. tony doesn't get nearly enough praise i just love nick and hellhammer too much both in their own way tbh and yeah i meant what i said about vortex.. i hated his negative contribution to their work, it made everything more formulaic, predictable, generic (particularly in sorte era), and though his voice has a distinct sound and all, he can't sing for shit rly

Well said, Marino. As a dimmu fan I agree wholeheartedly. Take this track for instance - sure Vortex adds a pretty tune at the end and it sounds really good with the keyboards and male vocals. But at 3:40 this piece is absolutely slaying it. Slaying it. That is dimmu right there.

@@marinosoric1117 Negative? Insanely many people love the Vortex part of the music. Even my mother who would otherwise hate this music find it beautiful. And before you go full "Puritan old schoool black meetal" : Good music is a subjective thing. In general if many people love something it can be considered good. If you dont like it, why click on it and listen to it? Listen to what you like bro.

Vortex has THE voice for the clean vocal parts, not even an entire choir could replace him. What people almost always fail to realize is the part that Mustis played in the band, the atmosphere of his compositions are unmatched by anything released after he left. Combine that with Vortexe's voice and you now understand why almost everyone loves this. Harsh vocals and BM guitar riffs can be found anywhere, the atmosphere of this era's DB? still looking for it. 6:13, this is what DB was all about for me.
