Vortex is a god! He is a god of metal bassists, and he plays metal bass guitar the way it's meant to be played! I'm not sure if he ranks high among the bass gods... but he SURE AS HELL ranks high among the METAL SINGERS! The guy is AMAZING! And such stage presence! It's been a long time since I've seen a metal bassist pull that off. Hats off!

By the end of the song, you can see the exhaustion and unsatisfied expression on Shag's face and then it pans to Vortex whose expression is panned with dedication and confidence of how much more of a performance he put on than the others. Competition had to be eliminated, it seems...

They kicked out Vortex for siding with Mustis on his pursue of the credits as songwriter the band denied him from Puritanical to In Sorte Diaboli. Most of the songs were actually written by Mustis but Silenoz and Shagrath (owners of the 'brand') put their names as songwriters, which Mustis allowed at first to get the position of keyboardist. Time passed and he was rightfully annoyed by his lack of recognition on the contributions he did, so it reached a point where Silenoz and Shaggy thought they had no settle it and that's how they kicked them out. For everyone it was obvious that the 2 more solid members live were Vortex and Mustis tho.

Sometimes when you think the world is just a dumb, random machine, it does thing like what you said and tells us "Hey, I have a taste too and know how to make epic happen!". Truly comforting.

i can't believe they didn't do vortex's vocals 1 octave higher on the album like they did live here. it's literally spine chilling awesome seeing dimmu live in less than 24 hours ^_^

Absolutely amazing performance, song is probably their best or at least one of, Vortex fuckin kills it as always, such a damn shame he's no longer with them. Btw, wonder why he was covered in blood near the end, was that his or prop?

When my friend showed me this i told him jesus they can make everything on videos show me the same song where they sing it in live...when he told me that the song is being played live i was just amazed how they can sing it like that...because cradle of filth is very different (ex. singing her ghost in the fog live and on the video) but i can't find here any differences between video and live concert...congratulations dimmu borgir wish you to continue like this and become way popular than you are
