I am so in love with synthwave. I am 41 now. 2 kids and wife. I thought:" Hmm maybe I can do something like this by myself. " So I went to the musicstore and bought a Midicontroller. A cheaper one just to try how it works. I thought it could not be so hard to produce these sounds with my DAW I downloaded. But I have to say it is really one of the hardest instruments I have ever tried to learn. Producing these tracks is really hard work. Thanks for sharing amd thank you for mixing them. Stay synthed.

Scheren, you dont need a midi controller to make this kind of music. In fact, using a controller makes it a lot more complicated and harder than it needs to be. Just use you DAW.

Synthwave also is much easier when you have an analog synth, than you can just let it come out and not worry so much about makin the sounds super full

@@wilsonfoss9177 True. One of the overhead that almost always occurs is when you are picking up the sound from the presets from the DAW and Vsts.Too time consuming. With analog synths you have to be happy with what is coming out right away.

I love the artwork. It makes me feel instantly nostalgic!

Dude ads are not up to the KZread content creator. They are placed in by KZread. Music mixes never get any revenue as all of the music is copyrighted by the artists.

I love these. Thank you a lot for bringing the genre into light for me. Your mixes got me hooked on synthwave and chillwave more than a year ago now. There's something to this music. Maybe it's the serenity, or maybe it's the synth sounds that induce me in a sort of state that gets me daydreaming. I hope this type of music gets bigger and bigger, but if it doesn't, there is always a niche corner of the internet that joins me in experiencing it. :)

Time passed, and she became one of the few entities that wander around in the odyssey, aimlessly searching for a treasure that keeps one same throughout the night. -Wanderer seen in Cybercity describing an event upon his arrival to the docking ports to a child

You could've removed the silence at the end of Methysmerna - Traces. Kills the rhythm, and feels kinda lazy. Otherwise a very nice mix as always.
