You would love The Story of One Sky, the MV is like a short movie about war, the visuals are high production level, the message is on point and the vocals...out of this world. The song is in English, Dimash wrote the music and the script for the MV.

Kazakhstan has seen a lot of war. They gained their independence in 1991. They've changed their alphabet, so that's why you see Dimash's last name with a Q or a K. Cyrillic was forced on them when the Russians took over in the 1940's. They are breaking away from Russian influence. ☺ "Samaltau" A Kazakh folk song about a man being forced to go to war. Dimash performed this in his studio for the Toyko Jazz Festival due to lockdown restrictions. - kzread.info/dash/bejne/h6qBtM2iidiZetY.html "In 1916, during the second year of the Great War (World War I), the Russian Empire carried huge human and property losses. The burden of restocking was laid on subject nations. About 49 million hectares of fertile land were forcibly taken away during the war from Kazakhs. The owners were driven out into the barren wastes. Taxes increased from 3 to 15 times. For the needs of war, livestock and property were mass requisitioned. And finally, it came to "requisition" of people. On 24th of June 1916, the Russian Tsar issued a decree that a half-million Central Asians, aged 19-43, were to be mobilized for army and labor brigades in the war effort. This decree was the spark for the Kazakh uprising, although the underlying reason was Russian colonization and the usurpation of Kazakh lands."

Dimash composed this song when he was very young. In 2021 he made a digital show life, but without audience. I went to get the ticket to get the conexión one day after the announcement and it was already closed. The server run out of capacity. I love this song. Thank you and take care. ❤️🙏☮️

I think something went wrong for you because there was no limit on the number of tickets they could sell. Luckily everything was uploaded later so that you could enjoy it too.

Dimash's music, prayer to stop the war. Very cinematic, great images, very intense and powerful. His voice is incredible. What a great artist.

You haven't seen Dimash's greatest anti war message until you've seen his music video The Story of One Sky. A work that took him 3 years to complete which like War and Peace he composed the music for but he also wrote the screenplay and acted the main role.

@@SargeStreams I thought you had already reacted to The Story of One Sky but, if you didn't, watching that official video is going to be a treat for a veteran because even if it's all about the peace message, you will understand better than most why war is the game of politicians who don't care about the consquences. I'm sure that people in the future will look back in time and think that this video would be considered one of the masterpieces of the 2020s (because of the music, the voice, the message and the video itself).

He performed this song in Kiev, Ukraine two years before the war arrived. Did he know something ? DIMASH always is amazing. He advocates for peace of the world. Thank you for the great reaction.

He sang it at many concerts and war didn't come to them. He isn't clairvoyant. It is however very sad that the war broke out and that performance of this song is definitely the most meaningful.

If you love the message of this amazing song, you must react to his masterpiece The Story of One Sky (he took 3years to compose this song): nobody is prepared for this, the music video is the most powerful ever, it is the quintessence of Dimash absolute talent, and his message to the world. Great reaction thank you. Dimash composed the music for this song when he was in China in 2017 -lyrics are by Chinese lyricist Yao Qian. This particular performance was from his Digital Show which Dimash produced for his Dears during Covid to fill the gap between his live concerts. It was live-streamed in January 2021 for one week via TIXR. Dears could buy a ticket for as little as $10 and watch as many times as they wished. It was a brilliantly produced live show with state of the art digital effects. The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. May I request Drunken Concubine and Diva Dance duet with Li Yugang, Your Love, Samaltau, Love is like a Dream, and Screaming MV. I love all the music on the Digital Concert but this song has such an intense melody and visuals. Here are some of my favourites and songs to fully appreciate the broad spectrum of his talent. Amanat, in Kazakh, very soft and hypnotising. Ikanaide, in Japanese, a master class in singing. Screaming Idol Hits, in English, for a totally different, fun side of Dimash we all love too. Quaragym-Ai 2020, in Kazakh, a tribute to his (and the pianists’) teacher that passed away from COVID. Omir Mood Video, very recent, in Kazakh, a love love letter to everyone that supported him along his career so far. Ave Maria, a wordless prayer across all religions, I cried like a child the first bunch of times I heard it. I said initially because of the stage scenes that help tell the story. Don’t get upset I corrected myself saying maybe Diana took that from Dimash. At first I said The other way then I realized Dimash is older lol…but I said that Bc they both have fantastic stage scenes to compliment the music…and they share Igor for influence etc…

This just goes to show you how inadequate most western artists are. Generally speaking there less talented and less motivated to use their position speak on sensitive subjects and less inclined to make music that doesn't follow a formula.
