He is very much into peace and humanity. He has given speeches even during a concert. Met with dignitaries in Geneva. He was given an award by the Pope which is something, as he is Muslim. He truly is a gift from God. Never saw a more humble person. He says he is not a star, they are in the sky. There are no words.

Dimash feels so strongly about the world, its warring past, and his hope for its future that he has made several songs specifically to do whatever he could to address the situation. This one is, by far, the most direct of those performances.

So glad to see you back, Lukas. Yes, this was a live performance from his 2021 online Digital Show. Dimash has always been a humanitarian and pacifist. I believe he wrote this important work while still in graduate school, and the earliest performance I see noted is in 2017. It is both prescient and historical in nature, and so relevant in today's world. Dimash has been known to publicly speak for peace; and during the political protest and unrest in Kazakhstan this January, (before the Russian War on the Ukraine) during which violence erupted between police/government forces and protesters, Dimash advocated for restraint and peace. His public plea, which was not inflammatory in any way unfortunately still resulted in his Instagram being frozen for weeks by the government. I imagine that as Dimash becomes more popular worldwide, it will be an even greater challenge for him to navigate a path in which he can both continue to speak up for his humanitarian ideals and grow his career without backlash from political forces. But he has a tremendously supportive family that raised him with good morals, so I predict he will find a way to continue to be an ambassador for peace.

What is even more poignant is that Dimash performed this song in Kiev and Moscow just a few days apart in concerts in both those cities in 2020. So sad his wish for peace and no war was ignored. He cancelled his appearances in Russia when the war started. Dimash just gave a heartfelt speech against war at his concert in Dubai a couple of weeks ago and then sang this song. His next concert is in Dusseldorf this April 9th and he will likely sing this song again there and in Prague which will be in another couple of weeks after that one.

@@user-ix5wx4zc9t 2014 г начался с анексії Крыма, потом Гиркин/Стрелков с Мотороллой с Крыма повезли русский мир на Донбасс. Но Украина не готова была отдать свою землю ещё и на юго-востоке. Так что хватит врать!!! Война на Донбассе имеет российскую прописку.

Thank you Lukas. I totally agree, Dimash is very mature and profiund. He has a lifepurpose beyond fame. Other have already told you that he composed this song already in 2017. The lyrics are in mandarine and Dimash collaborated with the chinese lyricist Yao Qian. The song was released on his first album iD (for the chinese market). This version is a part of a liverecorded studioconcert that was streamed online in january 2021. The recording took place in Ukraine in the fall 2020 (several still shots was released at that time on social media). The stage director is Anna Obaianskaia from Kiev, that had to flee the country. Of course it must be hard for Dimash when his team consist of both russians and ukrainians. Dimash gave a very powerful speech, in English(!), as an intro to this song at his concert in Dubai on march 24th 2022. He uploaded his speech with russian subtitles on his social media but later removed it. I am pretty sure it will be left out of the official recording of the concert. We can only guess what a thin line he has to walk to protect the interests not only for his own future but surely also for those who are associated with him in both Russia and Ukraine. Dimash wrote this song several years ago and performed it fir the first time in 2018 in a concert in China. Dimash is always speaks in his concerts about peace and unity. Before performing this song in Dubai this year he gave very emotional speech. He also gave similar speech in his concerts in Russia and Ukraine in 2020.

I don't know if you've already watched Dimash's performance of "Ikanaide". I don't see that you recorded a reaction to it. If you haven't seen it yet, please react to it. It's the Japanese version of "Autumn Strong," and it is Dimash's first song in Japanese. It translates to "Don't go" or "Don't leave". Performed in his studio sans backdrops or special lighting effects, it's an amazingly pure emotional performance that has brought many Dears to the brink of tears. Worth a watch!

"War and Peace" was created by Dimash long ago, even before his participation in the "Singer" competition (2017) [as far as I remember]. Even at that time, more than 7 years in the past, Dimash showed his deep concern about the tragedies at war time... This reaction is on the version of "Digital Show" (only online) that took place in 2021 - pandemic time.

Peace This song speaks about duality in every human being but it is in us to try to balance the good and evil, always put the love and respect above all. Dimash said once it is sad to see how children suffer due to the mistaken decisions of adults, that’s true. Dimash knows this very well because his own country has been through difficult times and that definitely left a mark inside of him. Dimash sang this song in Kiev and Russia on 2020. Dimash composed the music of this song and lyrics by Yáo Qiān, Chinese composer with Dimash. On the other hand, I love drums and the funky sound of the electric guitar 🎤💙💛🎸☮️
