Great reaction! This was Dimash's baby. He spent 3 years writing the music and producing the MV. I listened and watched this MV hundreds of time and each time, I get very emotional (cried each time), especially when the innocent young girl looked up at the soldier who cocked the gun. You are one of only a few reactors who actually noticed the click of the gun and rightfully assumed the worst. Dimash's cry really project his emotion for the song and scene and you felt his sorrow and his heartbreak and his anguish of losing his daughter. I have a daughter myself and cannot imaging the pain of losing a child. Dimash's charactor was the young boy who was drowning and got saved by the older boy who became the general. The older boy got rejected by the girl and ended up filled with hate and anger. The baby boy was born just as Dimash died, and at the end it's the baby all grown up, looking exactly like his father Dimash, leading everyone, from all different religions off to the sunset. This was Dimash's plead for peace. You should also check out his live concert of this same song. He premier this song in his Almaty concert in 2022. He truly gave it his ALL in that performance. At the end of the song, he was completely spent. That's how passionate he is about his message of peace. Only love and respect for Dimash.

More movie details: More details about the film: (1) The two boys competed for the girl's attention; (2) The character (who Dimash represents as an adult) created a symbol to confirm the friendship between the three, after being saved by his friend; (3) Still in the video we see the girl choose "Dimash" and then they get married and have the little girl (who was killed) as a daughter and the mother is pregnant with another boy; (4) The oldest boy (who saved "Dimash" from drowning) does not accept being abandoned by the girl and becomes a dictator president/general; (5) Dimash becomes a soldier who decides to return from combat to protect his war refugee family; (6) Dimash finds his daughter dead and thinks that his wife had also died, so he decides to take revenge on his friend; (7) He kills the dictator and is killed regretting the violence he committed in life; (8) Dimash's wife is well received by people of different religions who agree that Dimash's son is someone special; (9) The wife dies in childbirth and Dimash's son becomes a leader who leads the refugees to a better place of tolerance, respect and acceptance.

Really there aren't enough words to describe Dimash. It was the most impressive, most emotional, most meaningful music video I've ever seen in my life.I literally burst into tears.😥😥 I have never known an artist who delivered a performance with as much passion and intensity as Dimash.. I feel extremely proud to be called a Dear..I really loved the music video and the song.. It's a masterpiece. But I can't handle with Dimash's underwater screams and death scene even though I know it's just the video. These scenes destroyed me.And I felt his screams in my heart when his daughter died.It was very hard to watch these shots, this scene completely broke me..

He and his team never mentioned the costs of this masterpiece. 3 million, 7 million, 10 million. So many people think they know, but neither Dimash nor his team have ever mentioned the cost. We just don't know. In The Story Of One Sky he composed and sang the whole soundtrack himself. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In composing, in singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But simply unbelievable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. You probably have to see it more than once to understand it. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. During his concerts he always tells the audience he loves all people in every country. He visited so many different counties with his concerts and he realized that there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And OMG he is such a phenomenal actor. Dimash was the little boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. She was pregnant and in the end of the video she gave birth to her and Dimashs' (character) second child. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. When he came home and saw his daughter dead on the ground, he had to assume that his wife and unborn child were also killed. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. When I first saw the video, I was shocked. I didn't think he was going to shoot his friend. But in the end that all made sense. Dimash wanted to show what revenge can do. Violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. It was so heartbreaking to see Dimash drown at the end. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. In this video you can see how the main religions are represented mostly with his voice. Islam with the type of Arabic melisma (unfortunately I don't know the correct explanation for this type of singing), Buddhism with the monks and the enchanting "Om", Judaism with the shofar and the Christian church with the soprano singing, which often can be heard in churches. If you want to know more about this video check out dimashnews. com By the way Dimash has received an award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. Can you imagine, a Muslim receiving an award from the head of the Catholic Church. How wonderful is that🥰. He also gave a speech at the first Central Asian Media Forum, in which he once again strongly advocated peace. You can see it with English subtitles. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZHdpl8NsndnMgKw.htmlsi=99iF8ltfNARzaZAn He is also an abassador of peace. He never get tired to advocat peace everywhere he is. He was recently appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador by the UN. IOM Regional Goodwill-Ambassador of Migration. The official live version of his concert (on September 23, 2022 in front of 30,000 people from 68 different countries) is available on his channel, Almaty concert part 3 from minute 23:15 with a short speech in which he performed the song for the first time. You should definitely see this. There are subtitles in English kzread.info/dash/bejne/i4Rl1JuwnM7TeLg.html And he's been singing it in all his concerts ever since. But always a little different. Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

Congrats on the reaction! Well, some considerations: (1) Dimash composed the song and participated in the arrangement, in addition to acting in the mini-film. The lyrics of the song and Russian poet Lilia Vinogradova and the video direction by Alina Veripya! (2) The artifact that the boy found in the trunk and that was turned into necklaces is a "gnomon", a needle for a sundial (a rustic device for keeping time); (3) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a piper was hired to deal with the rat infestation of the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). After hypnotizing the rats with his magic flute and drowning them in the Weser, the artist went to collect the amount owed (one coin per head) and was not paid (they alleged that he did not present the "heads" of the rats). He then hypnotized one hundred and thirty children from the city of Hamelin and locked them in a cave. Yeah, well, the "pied piper" (also called "ratcatcher") has become synonymous with the tyrant who uses a mesmerizing speech and leads to death! (4) The term "Imagine" refers to the song of the same name by John Lennon; (5) The final text is part of the document generated at the 2019 Congress of World Religious Leaders and the music presented at the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) on 14/09/2022 and was attended by of Pope Francis, representing the Catholic Church and who presented Dimash, on the occasion, with a medal of gratitude.

Hello friend! Thank you for your sincere reaction, you were brilliant figuring out the storyline that Dimash was portraying, good on you! 🥰When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least! Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was walking under the overpass, also when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace, and harmony and through his many charities. He is a Legend in the making and will go down in History. This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it: This mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was created by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The boys both loved the same girl, but she loved Dimash, so the other boy grew resentful over time, started a war, using the symbol of the necklace given to him by his friend Dimash, as the crest on his army uniform. 1) Dimash, was the boy drowning at the beginning and at the end. 2) The Piper, is the one who saved Dimash, became the leader, and was killed by Dimash at the end. 3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son who inherited the necklace from his mother…, they were all affected by the war. “People are the caravan…. Life is the way”: Dimash spoke these words in Kazakh, when he found his daughter dead. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim or (Shepard or a Wise Man) at the end of the video was Dimash’s baby boy, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love, and harmony. I’M CHOSING LIFE!! 🙏🙏 See you in your next reaction. Love from Canada 💖

You picked up a great deal actually.. This is such a visionary piece, as it turns out even more prophetic than it seemed at the time, alas. I love how he made this as a movie with a soundtrack: the sound design sometimes almost overpowers the music, showing that to him the story & the message is more important than his spectacular vocals. What gets me every time is the expression on his face at the end when he joins the pilgrims. There is so much knowing in his eyes, and every time I see this I ask, who are you? Dimash confounds me. He is so much more than just a singer, a true envoy of peace. And he knows this very well

You did a great job for a first listen. You didn't miss much, most miss the fact the pregnant lady and slain child are with Dimash. Most mistake the protagonists (adult) role as the older boy in the beginning. This is confirmed as the young older boy, and the 'general' both have a mole on their face, beside the nose. Top job all in all 🥰 💞🦌

🎼✅Yet another truly outstanding reaction (albeit to a Dimash Magnum Opus). I've watched about a hundred reactions to this video and so many details leapt out, such as you being only the second to mention, as the tall kid looks at her while saving the Dimash character's life, that the kid likes her (and, implicitly, how incongruous that moment is, and, explicitly that it would presumably be portentous), and your sensitivity to Dimash's facial expression (cutting off "vocal deliv..."). 🕊💚

@@Kfuglif 👍Yep, details matter, so I was careful to write "a Dimash Magnum Opus" not "the Dimash Magnum Opus", not only because it's during his lifetime but because he's not even had his 30th birthday yet. 🙀

This song is a "modern" multicultural interfaith Requiem (the traditional Requiem is a song for the Mass of the Dead in the Catholic Church. The best known requiem is by Mozart I think). The Requiem usually has 2 parts: one mourning death and the other celebrating life. Dimash says in a low voice: Адам керуен, өмір жол. Man is a caravan, life is a road. (Kazakh proverb) So for me, the caravan is his (and our) inner world. Religiosity is in us, the religious man dies when a part of the soldier (Dimash) dies when he finds his daughter dead. So when he seeks revenge, there's a storm. Death follows death: Piper dies but the soldier (Dimash) dies too. Death is not the answer. And so violence is not the way (You can murder the "bad guy" but if everybody thinks that violence is an answer, another "bad guy" will appear for sure.) And then we see that his son made a better decision... His son joins others in seeking peace. That is the final answer. Hug from Brazil 😍🇧🇷

I am from Ukraine. My country is now in a state of war. The neighboring aggressor country kills civilians: children, pregnant women, aged people. They do not shy away from anything: torture, robbery, rape. Parents bury their children under fire, digging a grave with their bare hands, otherwise the animals will tear apart the already mutilated bodies. This song is about our pain, tears, blood and our present life. Appreciate the freedom and the ability to fall asleep without fear in your home, in your bed. We are all people born on planet Earth and we are all united by the desire to live freely, love and be close to our families. We beg all caring people, everyone who has mercy, empathy, for help. Hear our prayers. Help us in the struggle for freedom, freedom, life, because tomorrow this horror may come to your country, to your homes. Everyone who reads this message can help - together we are stronger! Thanks to Dimash for this work of art. He understands our pain and our sorrow better than anyone. He, like Prometheus, ignites the fire of faith in humanity in hearts. Hear his message. Glory to Ukraine!
